I have read some posts here and other sites where A4 guys are bashing the 2.7 for one reason or another. I will be using it as my DD, not a track car, so I'm more concerned about how it will last in stock form with a little highway run here and there.
Also any pitfalls associated with this model I should look for would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The 2.7T is a very robust engine and there have been multiple cases on AZ and QW of S4's running into the 200K mark on stock turbos. It all has to do with how they are maintained, warm-up, cool down, etc. I would only but one with a lot of records. Regular maintenance can be a little pricey, but it is a performance sedan and the maintenance is MUCH cheaper than the repairs. After owning your A4, I am sure you are familiar with this. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
BTW, ride safe!
