I had the DWS's for about 6 weeks and they were okay. I remembered them being very stable during high speeds (85-90mph and beyond) but I find that the sidewalls to be EXTREMELY soft which inhibited a bit of body-rolling during slight turns and cornering. Also, for some reasons they tend to pull to the right during normal cruising. Needless to say I switched them back for the original OEM ContiSport Contacts and the grip is firmer, and it is as straight as an arrow now. Here's a few photos during the time I had them on.

I got the DWS's and they r nice and quiet. good on snow but once it comes to cornering they are complete ****. My suggestion is get yokos or pirelli's u get a way better bang for the buck.

Had on since April 2011! We have not had much snow here in the East. We did get that big storm and they did very well in the snow I thought. I got them at Sears when everyone else was sold out. Get them you will not be dissapointed.

I love the DWS. Have them on my A4 and had them on my WRX before that. As most have mentioned, the side walls are a little soft, but I like the ride. I held onto my Pirelli P7s in case I feel like putting them back on for the summer for a more agressive performance tire.

As for the OP asking about the Nitto Motivos, they are pretty new and Nitto is actually actively trying to get people to test them out for free. They advertise a lot on audiforums.com. I would have tried them out but they don't make them in 245/40/18s.

Here's a link to submit an inquiry for free tires. I think all you have to do in return is write a review.
