    Buying some DP's tomorrow and I'm looking for a diy or something of the like for reference on how to procede. 02 tip a6, I searched but didnt come up with anything.

    wow i didnt think there were any dp kits for the auto anymore. what brand are you looking at?

    theres a tech article in the s4 forums of gutting cats.

    let me know which dp you find. ive been looking for quite sometime now but all for manual.

    Ssac downpipes." Minor mods to fit a tip"( emailed the company that was the reply) from what I've read I just have to build a few braces from the trans, If I do it myself I will do my best to take pictures and write a writeup on it.

    Installing DP's on a TIP A6 is a bitch, have a few extensions and universal joints on hand. Also, you will have to reach a few bolts from the top in the engine bay.

    Just had Billy Boat downpipe kit installed on my 2003 MT6 - a made to fit kit. Still took my indie shop eight hours including have to make a custom connector between the larger cat pipe and the existing oem exhaust. Al so replaced all four O2 sensors as part of the job.

    looks like there one company. what is the midpipe option? should i get none or test pipe or high flow cats? whats the difference?

    I'm in contact with them for my '01 but don't think they do the '02 and up as the turbo outlet is different.
