    I Don't Understand?

Audi is going to give the 2013 Audi R8 a facelift and increased hp but they are going to make an all new R8 in 2014. I don't understand the point in that? Who is going to buy the 2013 knowing a whole new design is coming the following year? My only guess is that people who want the 6-speed will get the 2013 since its going to be discontinued in 2014.

The sources we've seen are putting the replacement to the current R8 out a bit further than 2014.

    That makes more sense.

Perhaps we'll see the next-gen "R8" at an international auto show in 2014, with delivery in 2015?
