So I have purchased 2 sets of Lug Studs and both are wrong. I need 14x2 Where to buy?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am installing some ET45 Ultraleggera wheels/tires on my S4, first the lug studs I got were perfect however the offset caused me to need spacers. I got them however the spacers and new lug studs are too short but the spacers fit perfect.

Original Lug Studs I bought 14x1.25

    New ones 14x1.5

    I need 14x2

Where can I get these and does anyone need some, If you are in Colorado I'll give them to you for free. I'm wasting cash like crazy on these damn wheels and getting the right lug studs corrected. Both places will not return them, even though they weren't used.

just get the 2.5" long ones from RavenMS. that way you will never have to worry about them being to short.

What hub do you have that is 14x2? All Audis that I know of are 14x1.5.

I wonder if the 2 was referring to how long they were?

The second number should be the thread pitch not the length, that might be part of your problem

I was thinking 14 was the diameter, and 2 was the length, or vis versa. 14mm x2" or 14mm x 2mm. Sorry im no good with metic, i use inches and feet everyday. But i dont think thread pitch is included.

M14X1.5 is for the stud diameter and thread pitch, you need a 3rd number to designate a length, for example 2.5" or 65mm

Here is a link to Ringer Racing's M14X1.5 2.5" Studs:

    http://ringer-racing.com/product.sc?...&categoryId=37

    Specs:
    Stud thread pitch is 14mm x 1.5
Stud length is 2.5", 1/2" at hub and 2" from hub once installed
Conical Nuts - 17mm or 19mm Hex Head
Ball Seat Nuts are 19mm Hex Head

    19x8 Ultraleggera ET45

    8mm spacer

have tried stock size conical lug studs, 1.5" and both are too short especially with these wheel spacers.

I'll take your studs for free, or pay you. Jasonsowers sold me me stud kit, not sure if he still has some but he bought in bulk, I got mine for $60. Not sure if they're 14x2, I can run up to a 15mm spacer w em.

I also have 6mm and other various sized spacers if you want/need to trade. I think I saw these wheels on CL, they look nice!
