    Silver vs. hyper silver wheels

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi Folks,
I have the option to buy the RS4 wheels either in
    silver or in hyper silver.
My A6 is light silver in color and I really can't picture
which wheel would be look better.
I know everybody has is own opinion and taste and
I'm not asking which wheel would look better.
I would like to know where is the difference between
    silver or hyper silver ?

    Thank
    Frank

hyper silver has sparkles in it, so its sort of like metallic and more shiny. Silver is just silver like your oem wheel. Go with hyper ;)

My wheels were hyper. Very very pure silver, not much blue in it

I went with silver, but my replicas are a little brighter than the oem rims. They look real good on a silver A6. You have to remove and clean/wax them inside and out once a year at least to keep them looking nice. If you email me at jjaiven@chartermi.net, I can send a picture next week when I get home.

Do our cars very depending on models because I'm currently looking at a set of rims that say they fit 4.2 and rs6 but not a 2001 a6 2.7!

    Yes, they do.

What is the width & offset? That might be the issue. The RS6 & 4.2 (and Allroad) are wide body cars, the 2.7T, 2.8 & 3.0 are narrower. So the wide body cars can accomodate a wider wheel & more aggressive offset.

18x8 45 offset. I know this isn't the right fitment but wouldn't spacers help?

They seem kinda cheap but I hope not quality wise
