I'm surprised I didn't see this posted already, unless I missed it but then again, I'm not sure how many people know of AMS Autorworks in NJ & Diego. I know some people know him & I've had really good experiences with him & hes been working on this sweeettt BT with all kinds custom parts.
Anyone know whose car this is? Anyway....Below was copied from AMS's FB page.
Tucked Diverter setup
Ooo myyyyyy
"o stock engine......of course its built! fully built bottom, fully built fererra big valve big port head with cat stage 2 race cams, our custom exhaust and intake manifolds, pt6262,"
" It's a BB PT 6262 .82ar..... It's a big boy :) the kit is a full in house custom build from the intercooler to the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, DP, charge pipes etc"
"intake mani was designed as a production piece there for keeping everything in the stock locations, if you look carefully you can see the extra fuel rail to run 4 conventional style injectors, steve tune will be custom and will run 4 extra injectors with a aux fuel controller"

i forgot how much space our engine bays had when all that plastic and the battery is removed. That silver thing (manifold?) looks like it would hit the hood when its down.
2007 Audi A4 S-Line Ti - JoM, Carbonio, Ecodes, RS4 Black Optic Grille, Tint, whole bunch of APR stuff, Forge, and AWE stuff, Devils Own Methanol Injection, just your run of the mill B7 that's been "tinkered" with

customer test pipe from same shop that was part of a BT kit setup.
Another angle.
look at the fill welding done to mate up two different size pipe. no reducer or anything. and that exhaust hanger...
It's known that, if you're a good friend and go there all the time, you get treated different than the random customer that comes for custom work. You end up with the stuff above...
Wow!! Don't know where Dangler got these pics but if I took my car in and saw that type of work, I would have shit my pants.......literally

Unfortunately, that sorry excuse of an exhaust was done at AMS Autowerks and belongs to me.
Back story:
The requested job was for a custom 3" test pipe/down pipe with resonator delete. AMS decided that the monstrosity of an exhaust posted above is/was accept. I guess that just goes to show the quality work they're really capable of. And when asked about the horrific job, Diego's song and dance was, "It was done by an employee that no longer works at AMS." To this day, he has done nothing to fix it.
Once my car is set and done, I will be making a trip to RAI Motorsports in MD in lieu of a better exhaust. Perhaps, incorporating their famous 4-3" test pipe/down pipe into the mix.

regardless if it was done by a former employee. When being an owner of a small business, you should know the quality of work being done in YOUR shop. Whether it was done by a worker or done by Diego himself, it still came out of AMS. And you should be checking the work your employees are doing.

I couldn't agree with you more, Chris. It's a lame excuse because in the end, it's representing AMS Autoworks, not the nameless former employee. I also expected Diego to at least check his employee's work and that it lives up to a certain standard.

Man sorry to hear that was your car Stokes but I'm sure RAI will get it taken care of!
I had good experiences with Diego, as well as some of my friends but I know of other people that have not. I’ve read a lot of good things about them but I’ve also read a lot of bad things about them.
This is nothing new with AMS, unfortunately, as there are threads on here & vortex slamming AMS & some people had the right to do this due to what they were put through.
I agree w/Danglers statements above.

That's the tough parts of owning a small business. No matter how loyal and how good an employee's work is, they will never represent your business in the same light as you would, the business owner. Simple fact. Only the business owner(s) will go to great lengths to satisfy their customers because it's there livelihood.

I've seen waaaaaaay more business owners f*^k over customers than employees ever do. Just look at what the owners of Creative and Streetwerks did to there Audi customers out here in Cali.

You're missing the point. Business owners that fuck people over are simply bad business owners. Business owners with good intentions that don't keep tabs on their employees and allow sub-par work leave their shop, are actually bad business owners too. Whether you do the work yourself or someone else does it, you're responsible. A good business owner hires people that will produce work at a level they themselves would produce, because essentially your workers are an extension of you. They represent you/the business. My point is that no one will represent you any better than you. So if you're a shit business owner, you deserve failure. If you're truly a good business owner, then you will have success. That comes with loyal people, that see eye to eye, have the same goals. get my point now?
Are you referring to 3zero3? They are now carrying the K0Rs!
No, I wasn't (but good info to know!! Will those be the 1st Revo K0R's?!?). I was optimistically hoping you'd close up shop on the east coast, and reopen back in the Rockies. I lived in Maryland for about 9 years, trust me, Colorado is the place to be!!! And we have Audi's all over the place!
