Hi,
I am preparing to add some new wheels this summer and have some questions pertaining to the rear wheel backspace allowance on our cars. My stock 19x8.5 wheels, with a 32ET, have a 6 inch backspace (the measurement from the hub to the inner rim of the wheel.
I plan to install 19x11 wheels (325/30-19 tires = 26.7" diameter) in the rear and I want them tucked under the car as far as they will go without rubbing on the suspension. I will use spacers to push them outside if necessary. My fronts will be 19x9 with an approximate 25 to 30 ET (275/35-19 = 26.5" diameter) so I have no worries there.
My questions is, "does anybody know what the rear maximum backspace wheel allowance is for an A5/S5???" I can figure out the ET once I know what the maximum backspace is possible.
Many thanks in advance...
Billy
