Audi A3 1.8TQ, 2000 model, ABS light comes on once in a while..ideas?

The mechanic has checked the sensors and found them ok, what is the next step?
It seems to get the ABS light on easier when doing some spirited driving.
This car is a 1.8T Quattro from 2000.
