Interesting thing about Toronto, there used to be a rail line that ran from Union Station all the way up Yonge to Richmond Hill. Imagine if that was kept instead of being removed when more and more people bought cars

Sorry to break your brittle heart, but the cop was right. Too many red necks coming from useless parts of the country with no catalytic converters and pollute our air which is polluted enough by our manufacturing industry.

Basically, if your province is too deep in the stone age to implement its own air quality laws, STAY OUT OF ONTARIO, you might not have standards but we do.

that would be stupid, its the same thing in alberta we only get issued one plate. No way should a car registered and insured in another province have to change there car cause ontario has differet laws. i was told this week that the cop that pulled me over has a reputation for writing BS tickets to people around the kingston military base. he tried to give another guy here a $500 dollar ticket for having a plate with dirt on it that covered the last digit.

just another case of a douchbag cop thinking cause hes got a badge and a gun and thinks he can do what ever he wants.

If you're leaving the province soon, see if you can make a complaint against him since you won't have to deal with the repercussions :)

i thought of this on the day i fought the ticket but i feared that the Sgt there was just gonna give it back and say see you in court. i figured it was better to just shut up and leave the station. but i think im going to call this week and file a complaint based on the 30 min lecture about how im killing the enviroment.

I'd take the risk of a ticket in Ontario over living in the prairies......all day long.....and I've spent a ton of time in Alberta.....you must be joking!
