LED Headlights!!!!!

I cant find good pictures with good Headlight shots. Everytime that sexy S5 or R8 is behind me it makes me want to go steal dem purrrty thangs. I am still skeptical on how they look and I am hoping people would post up as many pics as possible.

Tampa has more millionaires per capita than just about anywhere in Ohio...and it never snows in God's waiting room either. Plenty of shiny, expensive cars on the road down there. OP, there are many threads in the B6 forum ripping the R8 style headlights and contain pictures showing how they just don't quite look right on the B6 platform. The general concensus: OEM is the way to go.

There are a bunch of R8's in Tampa. Making a delivery for work one day I came across a group of guys having a small car meet (5 guys....5 R8s)....I was 2 hours late making the delivery

That boser hood improves the look of the lights dramatically. I had those headlights and got really sick of them quick. Especially with everyone else having them in their Explorers, Mustangs, etc.

OP I also love the look of the R8 and S5 LEDs, they look good on our cars at night yes, during the day when you can actually see the inside of the housing is a different story.... Although Nightrider's Boser might compliment them well.

Nope, I believe its stock.....dont know the brand coz I used whatever the fog lights come with haha

and yes, I would ditch the LED headlights if I dont have boser hood

I've never been a huge fan of LED headlights on a B6. The fogs deletes / replacements and DRL mods are usually pretty cool but as for swapping the OEM housings with these? Eh, not so much.
However I love em with the boser hood. Unsure if I've actually ever seem this till now, which is really weird b/c I'm always all about lighting threads. Regardless, I opened this thread and was pretty surprised... this looks hot.

Now for the tough part... finding a standard DG USP with a boser+LED housings. ;-)

Anyone got this exact setup or just you two fellas? Cars looks great.

Its actually one of the first generations so not even HID ready yet, its black(of course not chrome -_-)...but still installed an aftermarket DDM tuning. Cut-off/projector is horrible. Planning to do change the projectors soon just like what Reni did to his.

I just have to disagree how the lights make the car terrible...well on a stock a4 yes

Just installed a TRS Morimoto 55w D2S system into my OEM D1S HID housings. Excellent fitment. Still waiting for the bulbs to burn in and need to polish the housings but thus far light output is pretty good. If you opt to upgrade from DDM, keep it on your list.
That aside obviously the OEM projectors are a problem area. I'm contemplating going for a complete full tear down to add new projectors. Still need to figure out what would or could work and if the end result is worth the efforts. That and growing large enough balls to take a heat gun to my housings. Eeesh.

Yes i went also with the first generation of ebay lights helix ones. Took them apart replaced all the led's with bigger brighter ones did all the wiring from beggining and retrofitted h1 bixenon projectors morimoto. Also led turning signals. there are a lot of headlights out so it depends on u what u actually like. A couple of pics on daytime..

Those LED lights do not flow at all with the lines of the B6. They look stupid. Even on the B8 platform they are starting to look old, boring and dated.

You don't drive a S5 or a R8 hence why you don't have their headlights.

about to pull the trigger for a mini D2S projector retrofit kit including the HID kit too >.<
