Jon from the PTGuide sent over the following map (click for larger view) showing you the different options available for gettin' some grub while in Port Townsend.

So far so good as far as the condition of Memorial Field so we are on schedule for a March 31st event! Don't forget to bring those Northwest Harvest donations and we'll see you at Pacific Raceways!
I have literally an entire plastic bin full of canned food to donate that I have been saving all year. Glad you guys are doing the food donations again!

SO awesome!! Your efforts are definitely appreciated.
Would be fun to attend another just to look over the sweet rides, but will probably pick up the convoy from Port Orchard.
How do we donate and get parking passes when joining in route?
BTW: If you talk to these organizations, a monitory donation is always the preferred method... just sayin...

MP3 is the McDonnalds equivalent of music. Both have their place, but neither cater to quality.
We will have a collection area set-up as you enter Memorial Field. Your donation will be the "parking pass" at that point. As for the donation, we accept both cash and food (off the list supplied by Northwest Harvest). We need to help them put their trucks to use somehow!
Combine the current 10-day forecast with news about Memorial Field already being a "wet sponge" as of a week ago, there's a chance we're looking at a re-schedule for the 2012 Port Townsend Cruise. The back-up date of April 28th is still in place and we will make a formal announcement on Monday, March 26th to confirm if a re-schedule is indeed happening. Be sure to check back then so you don't end up showing up to an empty (and wet) parking lot! Thanks in advance for everyone's understanding.

While I am most likely not going to be able to make the drive up to Port Townsend, I could how ever perch out on the Tacoma Narrows bridge and take photos of the group coming over the bridge and then pan shots of single cars as they round the corner.
If somebody could give me a heads up when the group is about to the bridge, I could give out my cell number for you to call me.
Also, if somebody more involved with the group could suggest that the cars go 3-4 wide side by side over the bridge. Audi drivers stick to the inside lane, closest to the center so you won't be blocked by other cars. Then I can shoot each car as you round the corner.
I won't be able to get a shot of every car, thats just a time and space issue, but I can do my best.

Fantastic shot of the bridge!! The coordinating part can get difficult, as the cruise participants are often separated, then at times a whole group can just occupy the bridge at once. We will do our best to make such an announcement though in hopes some good shots can be taken and I'd like you to get a hold of me directly (dion@achtuning.com) so we can talk more. I do need help with some coverage. Thanks in advance!!
I am happy to announce Jefferson County Fairgrounds has given us the green light for the use of Memorial Field. With the current forecast in mind, it has been determined the amount of rain should not impact use of the field so we're on schedule for a March 31st event!
In Memorial Field, there are a few "iffy" spots so those areas will be roped off. Be sure to stay clear of those areas!! And Jefferson County Parks has reserved the right to cancel use of Memorial Field at the last minute in the unlikely event a monsoon comes along and completely floods the field between now and Saturday. Should that happen, it'll be a free-for-all with regard to in-town parking. Imagine the impact it could have on a town that is limited with parking spaces to begin with so be prepared. And by no means do not park illegally and be mindful of the Port Townsend residents whose town we will be "invading."
More announcements will be made to further update you with regard to this weekend's activities. Please stay tuned here and on our Port Townsend Cruise Facebook page for details.
still debating, but coming from whatcom county...if you plan on driving to i5 in burlington id possibly meet up. not sure who else coming from this far north, but ill probably meet with nwquattro guys before as well.
