    DIY Alu Optic stone guards for S5

    Has anyone done the Alu-Optic stone guards themselves? I have a Meteor Gray S5, and I think they would look cool w/contrast. This is my first Audi, having come out of several BMWs, so I do not have any wrench turning experience with them.

    Tried to find a thread with the search, and couldn't find any specific references. Thanks!

    They are the pieces that run along the lower sill of the car, and normally body colored. They make a set with the same finish as the mirror caps. I got a nice booger in the paint on mine, and thought of just changing them out to the Alu Optic finish vs repaint.
