Hello,
Im having problems with fuelcuts and also lost of power at my 2.0 tfsi with a gt2876r turbokit from VAST.
Also have 2.5" full exhaust and FMIC Intercooler.
So powerlost and no CEL....
Did a dyno on this car at motornord in Sweden they also did the tunefile for it, 211 whp @ 1.5 bar.
0-200 km/h takes 25 sec...
Checked it with VAG COM and the code is:
012 555 - Low Pressure Fuel regulation: Fuel pressure out of tolerance
P310B - 002 - Lower Limit exceeded - Intermittent errors
frozen data:
Error status: 00100010

I have changed my thrust sensor allready, but it didnt help, any tips?
Have been trying to find out the problem now since the summer...
The G410 was replaced 6 months ago. The N276 hasn't been replaced recently, but I got a whole new HPFP about 6 months ago when the Autotech internals were installed into it..

Do you still have the old thrust sensor you can swap it out just to rule it out for sure???? It's one of those code that can be grusome to track down...

Guess I will have to buy another one.. For now, I'm going to wait for the RS4 controller to come and see what happens. Rumour has it from a tech I know, the RS4 one makes the LPFP flow about 30% more... If that really is the case, then my problems should be solved, provided it's not a G410, N276, Leaking HPFP somehow (eventhough there's no gas in the oil and the fuel trims suggest it's perfect), or a pinched line (hard to track down possibly since it runs behind the heat shield I beleive on the firewall, but a possibility since my car had a "thermal incident" above the downpipe from oil leaking from the vaccuum pump and saturating the heatshield material... and the tranny was out amongst over $10k of parts)...
I called about the DW300 today, but they told me to call Vast and see what needs to be done to fit one in our application...
Vizi, can you PM me your email and I'll send you my logs.. Maybe your logs will give me an idea of if it's tune related... My tune requests 130 bar from 5K and the injector time is 7.5ms roughly... and that's when all hell breaks loose (9degrees of timing pull)... I'm just fishing here.. Another friend at Mercedes gave me a suggestion of checking the sock on the intake on the driver side, since they have seen problems if only one side of the tank is plugged...The dealer changed the LPFP, so I wouldn't doubt that they didn't clean the other side...

yeah, feeel good to know that im not the only one with this problem... I have changed my camfollower and the sensor located on the fuel rail aswell, sparkplugs too but no help. Can thsi problem be software related? I have some misfire to... Guess next step is the intank DW300 from VAST, but im getting sick of throwing money at this can without gettting any preformance...
Thanks for trying to help me out!

I hear you on that one.. The funny part is nobody I have talked to has a concrete solution.. All suggestions, but when I searched other forums there are quite a few people that have had the same problem and never posted their solutions, other than Vizi (unfortunately my new pump didn't change anything)...
So tomorrow or Monday (when I have less gas in the tank) I will take a look at the pickup on the driver side and the fuel lines..
If that doesn't fix it, I'll try another G410
If that doesn't fix it, the RS4 controller should be here next week..
If that doesn't fix it, I might just suck it up and get a new HPFP from HPFPupgrade.com
If that doesn't fix it, then I'm going to look at taking the car in for a fine tooth comb lookover at a shop...
If that doesn't fix it, then I might and look at software as being the cause, but I've already been down that road and was assured everything is perfect.. so I'm lost...

I have had fuel cuts three times.
First time a new and upgraded oem intake cam and cam follower fixed it for several months.
Second was a worn out lpfp. Replaced and upgraded it. This fixed it for a year.
Having cuts again. Will be diagnosing over the next week. will update.
No succes yet, its bben damn cold here in Sweden... About -30c so no testing yet... Im probably going to go with a DW 300 and see what happens.... Or maybe the PRV for an RS4...
Running bigger injectors requires less rail pressure. So a 136 bar should suffice. If the newly priced hpfpupgrade valve was a bit cheaper I would consider it.
Iirc it's between 160-200$ but I bought a ton of shit and had shipping with a clutch so don't quote me. Andy@vastperformance.com can tell you better than me, it is pretty much a direct drop in, you have to splice together the two leads but everything is included.
I think D1drift did an article on the Dw300 and it outperformed a lot of its in line and drop in competitors and is much cheaper$$
Here's the link guys, awesome at 169$
Heres a pic I took right before dropping the LPFP back in the tank.
The blue nipple is the dw300, and the labels were a practical joke haha
From there it's just a matter of putting the "hat" in place and splicing the wires.
They can also provide you with the seal for the tank as well, (just replaced mine) 8-14$
Definently worth it IMO +++super quite

Pic?
Also to update my situation, I played devils advocate and succombed to Unitronics suggestion that the O2 sensor was too close to the flange now that the K04 was in and EGT reading was too high???.. So i had a new HFC made yesterday.. O2 sensor is now even further back 0.25" than stock location..Computer sees temps around 80-100 degrees cooler (although this is probably because the new HFC has less cells and flows more freely or just the conditions I logged in)... Anyways, I left the shop and the car was a lot faster... cruised on highway then grabbed my laptop and went for a drive to do some logs.. After letting the car adapt for about 50km's, I ran logs... Basically same shit as before with slightly less timing pull...
Anyways, RS4 controller should be here any day, so I'll do that next since I already bought it.. if that doesn't work, DW300.. (I might just buy it anyways.. )

So I have a question or two.. Since nobody within a 2 hour drive has a DW300 in stock (and I guess I'm getting inpatient), apparently the Aeromotive 340 Stealth pump has the same specs... and I can pick one up locally... http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-pa...-center-inlet/
Anyone have any experience with these?
Also, Shane can you tell me what inlet/outlet configuration the DW300 was? Center inlet/oulet, offset inlet/center out, or offset/offset... There's 3 options from Aeromotive so just wanted to know which orientation would work (if there's nothing bad about these ...otherwise I'll call Vast and order the DW300)
Thanks in advance to anyone that answers..

did change my fuelfilter, but notting happend... also did the calibration, the car felt a little bit smother... I have contacted motornord and they told me they will have a look at the software... Hopefully thats going to help me out... Fuelpressure is under 3 bar at rpm over 4500... If i lower the boost, I will get a bit higher fuelpressure aswell...

Have you torn the HPFP down yet? That sounds like a HPFP failure, 3 bar is below low pressure line pressure. With everything you have done, I would look into the high pressure fuel pump. Did you datalog any of your N276 voltage? I have seen those fail under RPM but normally its 5500 RPM and above that the N276 has issues with.
Keep us posted on what you find out.
Thanks,
John
Ignore the first part of my post... it was low pressure you were talking about, not high pressure

Hit me up if you need that DW300 we should have them added to the site very soon at great pricing.

Correct, but when you start to run out of injector you are going to wish you had more fuel pressure or the ability to hold that rail valve shut to a higher commanded fuel pressure.
$130 for the RS4 valve and ours at $149, is $19 going to break the bank? Not only that but you cannot get 145 or 155 BAR rail valves anywhere else. It has been mentioned that I should be charging $200 for these, but like we have talked about before... its not always about the money.
Thanks,
John

Your logs look slightly worse than mine, but same idea (although you didn't log rpms or timing or injection or egt, so I can't really compare.... )
All these logs below are with RS4 PRV, Stock NGK Platinum plugs, plus everything in my sig..
Beginning to wonder if it's not the LPFP but the HPFP just can't keep up... hmmmm...
What bolt are you running on the feed side of your turbo, banjo or bamboo barbed fitting?
Also, have you checked your low pressure feed line from the firewall to the high pressure fuel pump. I have been told that there is a restriction inside of that line and it can be drilled out to a larger line. Check on those few things.
Hope this helps.

.... John we understand you've cornered the market on these valves!
Anyways not to dig at your sales pitch, but GAP sent me my RS4 valve for 102$ shipped..
And remember that the vast DW300 comes with all the install hardware and he even offers to do the install if you send him your LPFP. At 169$
Like I said, not a dig at your sales pitch... Cause I'm sure at 250$ people would buy them, but again it's not about the money (why bring it up then )
OP- good luck, I would agree with John that your hpfp may be the cause I wish I could offer more help!
Goodnight
Since I've been on a wild goose chase, I also gave in and swapped the LPFP controller with another one from a friends A4 (he just had his replaced recently under warranty), since my RS4 one is apparently walking from Germany. End result, NO difference. Ok, so at this point I want to tear my hair out, when I though to myself, WTF.
If you look at the logs, I'm running lambda at 0.7 (10.29) AFR. The injectors are open for a long time, and that's when my fuel issues start. The timing pulls, whole other topic. So I went to get re-flashed back to the regular Uni K04 file, since my EGT issue has been fixed right. Well, the car runs smoother and is a little slower, but I didn't feel any jerky throttle so I assumed no timing pull.
I ran some logs (will post up later) and sure enough, no timing pull, HPFP up to 136 bar, and LPFP around 3.8 bar at redline, all while the EGT doesn't get over 830 roughly... Injector timing, around 6.6... Only 2 small issues... MAF is down to 252 g/s max (from 280), and boost tapers down to 13 psi... If I could get that resolved, so the car was/felt stronger / faster like it did on the other tune, I'll be happy like a fat kid at a buffet.
Moral of the story so far:
O2 sensors on our cars need to be exactly at the factory distance off the turbo flange since the EGT probe is built in, and the projected value is affected by this
LPFP can't drop below 3.5 bar or HPFP won't meet requested pressures of 130 bar (LPFP at 3 bar will let the HPFP flow up to 120 bar only)
AFR of 10.29 is way too rich and beyond LPFP/HPFP/S3 injector combo limits...
injector timing greater than 7.26 ms @ 120 - 130 bar is beyond the flow capability of our stock LPFP (pressure drops below 3.6 bar at this number)
Hope that helps... I'll update when the RS4 controller for the LPFP gets here...
