Hey Axel, i wanted to VAG my R8. Im aware of a few codes such as the seatbelt chime, remote windows, deactivated the safety lights on the bumpers, and the ever so annoying DRL issue. I believe you can also activate the engine Led's so it remains on while driving. The reverse mirror tilt would be nice too. Perhaps ill get a list of codes and we can meet up sometime this weekend?

I dont blame ya its windows based...now if someone came up with an apple interface, im sure it would be much more intuitive.

I'm located in the junction (near high park) but I have my Audi :) Now, I've never tried the cable with any other car than a B7 S4. Do these cables work for all Audis?

It's really nothing to do with Windows ... it's a combination of application design and how the ECUs work. The steps one needs to take are not obvious, even with the help pop-ups. But it'd be the same problem on Mac OS, Linux, iPad, Android or even DOS ...

I'm also happy to help but I'm in K-W so probably not convenient for you.

The CAN cables work for pretty much any VW or Audi from the past 10 years.

Yes but the codes will vary by model and even by package from what I've seen...I hope you know exactly what values you are changing OP and to what....

Yes. But write the down before you change them and if the code isn't applicable to your model, revert it.
