Great find! I would think so, you might just need to tap new holes for wtv sensor you are using. Not plug and play but certainly do-able for the machanically inclined
I did lol.
I was just pointing out that it requires more work and supplies than just dropping it in.
there is also an adapter peice that you can find that bolts to the flat side of the housing and allows you to clamp a silicone hose to it.

The link that he posted is of a MAF housing that has been upgraded from the stock ford lighting and no longer requires the 4 bolt adapter and it is way cheaper than getting a maf from asp or somewhere

Oh, thanks....I should probably open the link next time. I just ordered one. way too cheap to pass up.

I bought one also, how will this fit, does 034 sell just the adapter to the factory air box? Or maybe different way to mount cut up old housing and use silicone boot and clamps?
Too cheap for me to pass up also. We'll see what it looks like when it gets here.
Guessing a heat gun and some plastic stretching or a buddy with a lathe to make it fit properly.
FYI the airbox outlet outer diameter is 4"(if you remove and smoothen the MAF clamps) so you can do a airbox mod to flow directly into this maf with its 4" inlet, then use a rs4 accordion hose.
If your gonna mod the airbox then you can also smooth out the transition.
Seller seems like a good dude. Sent an email to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting.
This listing has been up on Ebay for several months, but it took an Audi enthusiast for it to "catch on". The Mustang guys are so cheap these days that I suppose that even a $35 part wasn't attractive enough for them. We were only selling a few here and there since the listing first went up, and the bulk of them just sold out over the past 3 days.
FYI: We make an all-aluminum 95mm housing that has a round 4" flange on both ends that would accept the sensor. If the 85mm isn't "big" enough, then that one would work as well...

What! I'm buying a part on eBay for a ford lightning and I can't expect it to work right out of the box on my Audi? Lol, just kidding. Sad part is I'm sure there are people who think just that. If you don't mind me asking, how many have you sold since that post went up last week?
Thanks for the email and letting people know before hand.

Robert,
Thank you for your purchase of this item. We will be shipping them out today via UPS. It has come to our attention that a number of people are purchasing these for an Audi application. As stated in the listing, it's original application is as an upgrade on Ford vehicles made between 1999 and 2004. As such, we can not be held responsible if the product does not fit properly using the sensor from a different vehicle application. I hope that you understand. Thanks again for your purchase!
Well, somebody bought rest of them all, almost 20 so none are left for people who actually might need it for cheap. Expect these to pop up at $150 on classifieds soon... bah.
Yeah, I also got an email from the seller, so i let him know that our hitatchi sensor fits directly into the ford lightning housing.... maybe he will make some more and sell them to audi guys lol. Seemed like a cool guy.
Looks like rs4 accordion will fit well. Might need to cinch the clamp a little bit, asp housing is 91.8mm
Intlet will take some work to go into the airbox. Maybe a trip to vatozone to ghetto fab a cai.
ID is straight through and nicely finished.
This is going to get the sawzall and grinder.
Looks a nice piece for cheap ass mofos like me collecting stg3 parts for the day the turbo lady comes a knockin. Hopefully dude can get some more or whoever horked them all up doesnt put some hellacious markup on them.
looks like a couple options for the airbox, the first is a straight 4"-4" on the outside of airbox would work if you shaved off the the clamps,(i have a second airbox lid coming my way for that or a 3.5" tube into the airbox. I'm curious as to how this will work out.

Was hoping I could turn it down but being 85mm all the way through makes that tough. The asp is slightly tapered to fit into the box. Awe has an even more drastic taper.
i measuered the outside diameter of the stock airbox on sunday, where the maf clamps on it 4" exactly outer diameter, with a bunch of crap on the inside that the oem maf plugs into, but once you clean up all the excess I would imagine that a simple coupler from maf to outside of airbox would me most effective option, keeping factory filter, and box. other options are 4" hole with cone filter inside box(acting as a heat shield) or a straight 4" hot air intake. maybe a cheap home depot heat shield, but then you loose the ICM heat sink.
I'm curious to see what the difference in performance will be. Mine is pushing 22 lab of boost with all apr stage 3+ turbo and apr ss exhaust. Wonder if it's worth it for me? Any thoughts?
^You won't see any gains from just installing this part, you may see a decrease in performance if your tune is not setup for this maf housing. If you are on apr software i would skip this.
I just got mine today. Looks promising. I'll fit the sensor in tomorrow.
Sensor fits like a glove, it is a bit bulky even after shaving the mounts off of it. The center band of material is where they left original casting alone and it shows, it is overly thick there. Also the inlet side has a lot of excess material but at least it has a nice ramp/lip that will allow the air to make gradual transition.
Worth $45 shipped? yes! Nice "Spare"
As nice as $250 MAF from 034/others, no!

I almost couldnt buy one because seller did not specified shipping fee for canada on his add so I had to email him and by the time you guy bought all his stuff.
Lucky he kept one for me.
F4H-BT, 5 bar fpr, jhm fmic, vibrant catback, j-fonz tuned
I modified the stock airbox top so i could modify it to fit the larger housing.
first things first the outside diameter of the airbox outlet is 4" so a very simple 4' coupler will make a good seal to the MAF inlet after you remove the clamps on the side of airbox, very easy with a hacksaw.
then I looked at the transition from airbox to maf. not very smooth and I could open it up a bit, so I got out the dremel and went to town, removing some of the extra material around the outlet. I went through the box and used JB weld to make new walls, sand it smooth and quick spray of black primer on the jb weld and maf housing.
