    Quick Question

    I Just finished the valve,cam seals, half moon etc gaskets on one side of my car and have the cams out, i cant find anywhere how much FT i need to torque them down to, i just did 7 feet for now? anybody has the exact number? Thanks

    To torque the cam caps, the bolts are TTY, it's 7 ft/lbs and 1/4 turn.

    great Scotty thanks, also while im in there i see that the cams are off? isnt that notch supposed to be in line with the little arrow? they where like that when i started too, both couldn't get the picture of the other though. how do i adjust them?

    EDIT: My crank is not at TDC so nevermind

    yeah, it is something weird like 12 NM or roughly 7 ft lbs, like Scotty said.

    thanks, i am done with the job, but i had a problem, one of my cam chain tensioners valley seal was a pain to get out, i managed to get it out in the end but this came out with it??? Is this an important part? Looks like some kind of filter?

    All done. I got a new problem however, fault code P1393 Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 2 (G163): Open Short to Plus. How do i fix it and which One is it, left or on the right side?
