I just moved from Bellingham, WA and I had 20% all around and 35% on my windshield and I never got stopped for it. I had to roll down my windows when crossing the border but that was it. I traveled the I-5 corridor frequently and never got stopped but who knows, maybe I was lucky. Legally, last I checked was 35% on the front windows and as dark as you want on the rears and only an eyebrow of tint on the windshield. So you should be fine.

I have 20% all around, and i had 15% all around on my previous car, never once has it been an issue when being pulled over but the law says it is 35% all around

    just like on NWQ:

the law states 24% is the legal limit you can do. I ran 20% tint on my sedan for years and never got harrased or ticketed for being too dark (and this was when the limit was 35%)

if you want to tint the windshield, you will need a Doc note (sounds lame but it's true)

technically the back has to be 24% too unless it's a truck or SUV which could be anything. but I think they really only care about the fronts.

it could be hit or miss if they harass you about them. I've been pulled over for speeding before and pig pulled out his meter to check my tints also.

a nasty fat ugly pig pulled me over about 5 years ago for 20% tint. and that was the only reason why that pig pulled me over on 405 southbound near kirkland. she didn't even pull out her meter to check she handed me a ticket although i told her i just bought the car used and didn't know tint was illegal.
