    headlight/wiring help pls

2006 Audi A3 2T...The previous owner installed aftermarket SpyderEyes headlights with LED strip...the required bulb for the headlights is H9. I'll describe the problem(s) in a moment.

I'm not looking for a definite answer about how to fix this problem myself. I am really ignorant with electronics, and 1) would like to understand the possible issues, 2) if someone could post a wiring diagram 3) and maybe some explanation on coding, etc.

So here is what I am experiencing:

1)Driver's side headlight out--I replaced with a new H9, it worked for about 6 hours then stopped working. Worked two days later at night for about an hour, then shut off and has never worked since.
2)The LED strip inside each headlight assy: Driver side strip works but half of the led's occasionally turn on or off. Passenger side led's turn on full when i start car, then shut off completely about 10 seconds later.
3)Foglights: I put brand new H7 bulbs in and they have never come on once.

I notice that the led's will react to things like pushing in the clutch, or shifting into reverse.......it seems random. I don't have a clue--but it seems like possibly a ballast problem in the driver's side headlight, and maybe a ground problem for the led's.....NO clue about the fogs.

    Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I am taking my car to a performance shop this coming week, but I just want to know more about the headlight wiring and so on.

ballast for HID light bulb only. do you have HID bulbs?

try OEM headlight housings and maybe ur problem will go away.
