Damn right Ed Gein, I feel like a kid on christmas. I'm long overdue on wheels anyway. I just don't like my ugly 17" on stock suspension. At least these 18"s will make up for "some" gap until my shock/springs come in

Quick ?, and apologies if my search queries failed to find this info elsewhere.
I've been talking with Ray @ Sonic, and he's been a great resource. I'm this close to pulling the trigger on a set of 18's, but I want to be 100% sure they'll fit without issue. So, the question... will these fit without any rub/scrub?
235/40 tires on 18x8 ET35 wheels.
B7 Avant 3.2 w/ sport suspension
I do carry heavy gear (175-ish lbs) on a fairly regular basis, so I'm particularly worried about that extra 8mm (over stock) in the rear. I'm grateful in advance for any feedback....thanks!

If your car isn't dropped then you definitely have no issue...assuming you go with the right tire (probably a 235/35 or 235/40 depending what you want) if you were paranoid you could go to a 225 series tire to stretch it a little. But really, I am on coilovers and I only have issues with rubbing if I hit big dips when going fast which could easily be avoided by not driving like a dumbass.
I feel special, my car is being used as an advertisement :-) (the black B7) haha
Damn, those ST8's still just look amazing to me. I still wonder if I made the right choice with the ST5's... my curiosity will undoubtedly kill my bank account.

Your picture is what made me pull the trigger with the Reps

Thank you, and I love the dumbass remark. It's just too bad I don't resemble that remark.

They look great on your car. Are those the titanium gunmetal? And, if you don't mind, would you be willing to share your source for the center caps?
Ok, so I only asked Ray a gazillion questions, but now I can say...order in place. Thanks, Ray! Pleasure doing business with you, and I only hope you have a few strands of hair left.
I made the deal more complicated than it needed to be. Just bought my new-to-me '08, and since all four OEMS are curbed (previous owner parked by braille, is the only conclusion...all four are just nasty), I decided to do start shopping. In looking at my current wheels, I pulled a few caps and realized there was no way I could use the beat-up wheel bolts on a nice new set of wheels. So, after researching the size, sourcing new ones...and locks...wasn't too difficult. The hard part with these wheels was the center caps. Ray gave me a link to a UK seller, and I pulled the trigger on a set of four. However, if anyone here knows of a 60mm/55mm set that will fit the ST5's, I'd be grateful.

He's probably bald by now after my onslaught of questions when I bought my wheels, haha. Ray is a great guy, he alone will get me coming back to buy more off the site, as well as recommend to others.

Those center caps fit insanely tight and you will be just about convinced that they will not fit but let my car being reassurance that they can go in there Haha. I did have to take the metal rings off of the center caps to get them in there but they did fit.

Not new to modding, just new to modding Audi's. 4Rings - FTW!
Tony, I have the B6 A4 in the ad at the top of the page... my ST8's are 18".

Jank - Could you post a side photo of your ride...it looks beautiful, these wheels are a great deal!

In case anyone else is interested, here are the other p/n's:
Gorilla 17TWS 17mm thin wall socket w/ sleeve
Otis/RAD USA B-LS17D27F, hollow-head lug bolt set (20), 14x1.5, 27mm, r13 ball seat
Otis/RAD USA WH14MM wheel hanger, 14x1.5
I took advantage of a buddy's Amazon Prime setup. Still had to pay shipping and tax on the RAD USA stuff, but the total via Amazon was just over half the cost of their own website prices.

Jerry,
That's a nice combo!
Just to let everyone know that this lug setup only works with our ST5 or your OE wheels which takes ball seat lugs.
^ Good point, Ray. At that, I should probably go into more detail than just saying wheels & tires...
I went with a pretty complete package from Ray. 18" (x8", ET35) ST5's, Beru TPMS sensors, and Continental Extreme Contact DWS 235/40ZR18 tires. I hope to have 'em on the car by the weekend.
