Opinions on wheel color

I'm gonna be leaving my wheels in for powder coating and I can't decide on whether or not to keep them original color. They are 18 A8 flat/fat fives. I'm thinking of going a darker shade but can't work out how dark is too much, I know the oem color didnt look right as the car is a prefacelift which is totally different shade of silver, they did look good with brake dust tho :)

So do I go gunmetal...or some sort of matte black or what?..... I'm not into all that bright color wheel game either. Any photoshops or pix of an avant with examples will be a help.

Winter wheels or summer set?

I went with a dark gunmetal for my winter wheels because I don't plan on cleaning them very well. Heavy metallic flake will make them look decent even when dirty.

I like that first color. I have RS4 reps as well. Any pics of them on the car with the grey? How did you paint those?

By the looks of the flake prolly duplicolor wheel paint gunmetal , I cursed that stuff to hell last year... Couldn't get the flakes to lie down

Do you think anthracite would be too dark... I kinda like the color but not too sure about it on a flat faced fat spoke wheel like the A8's
