    Car Ramps Anyone?

Anyone have 2 car ramps I can borrow or even better a car lift lol? Trying to swap in a stock cat. I've heard it can be a pita to replace a cat if you don't have plenty of space under the car. Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about regular ramps you buy from Kragen or Walmart that won't give you much space at all, especially if you are lowered. Whenever I need more space I jack up my car as high as possible with my floor jack until my jack stands are on the highest position. That usually gives me enough room to work on everything I need to reach to pull the engine,.. at least it worked for me the last 3 times I pulled my engine.

^Same as above. Getting the front of the car up on the highest setting on the stands allowed enough room to get the cat out on my B7.

Looks like I need to upgrade my floor jack then.

Get one that has at least 20" lift, most only raise the car to 15" or so.

What jacking points do you guys use besides the ones directly under the doors? Is there somewhere I can safely lift on the frame/subframe?

If you're looking to get a set of ramps, take a good look at these:

They work great for low clearance cars like ours.

Thanks, but I was able to borrow my coworkers heavy duty floor jack. Got the parts swapped out in no time. It's soo much slower now. Going to look into an HFC+Stasis kit next!
