Yes, but the result is pointless if your looking for stock vs stock.

At the dragstrip, stock sonata turbo. I had the revo 2+ pushing the GT30 at 18 Psi, stock clutch.
First Pass- Clutch slipping badly my 60' was roughly 2.6 we were even for the 60' and I got him by roughly 2.5 sec IIRC I trapped (13.9)
Second Pass- I made it about two feet and my clutch let go

I don't have a slip, I was more concerned with getting my car home. It was some kid driving his girlfriends new car.

This guy I go to shows with has a medium turbo (GT28?) I think and pretty good list of mods on his, we've done some pulls (just playing around) and that thing is fairly quick :-) he just sold it but it's still in the area so I may have to get him to come to the meets.

Agreed, the new cadillac ATS looks promising too. A 270hp turbo 4? The germans need to step up the A4 and 328

They just need to move onto a 2.2 or 2.5 motor for the B9, and we should be good to go. A K04 stock might be pushing it, but we'll see.

A K04d 2.5l would probably boogie with a decent tune!! I doubt they will do that for the B9, though.

That would be sick, except they would they would be putting the ttrs motor into an a4 essentially. Be the m3 vs 135 outrage all over again, paying for the rs price tag then someone getting the same thing for half the price.

That 2.5T would be a sweet motor to put in something other than the TTRS.

I hope the S4 comes in an Avant or A4 ALlroad in a 3.0TDI or something larger than a 2.0T

i think audi is in the process of making certain engines run for all platforms, i think the 2.slow is going to stay for a while on the a4 platform, i mean i know it would be great to get more performance out of that engine, but bottom line is 90% of the people buy an a4 for entry level luxury, and economy, that engine still gets 28 MPG and has a good enough amount of torque to put a smile on the average driver's face. i could see the 2.5 t going into the upgraded line of a4 and replacing the v6, and the s4 will continue to run the s4 3.0t. audi is starting to abandon the traditional N/A engines like the v8 in the s5, with a smaller more eco-friendly 3.0t which puts out better mpg's and more power.

makes sense i guess, power and fuel economy

I have to agree the 2.0 may stay for some time. I more excited to see other advances in performance handling technology that may come from Audi in the next few years.

If they don't want to encroach on the 2.5l, that the TTRS has at least move onto a 2.2l or 2.3l, like Mazda uses.
