Latest News: The Stroble Law Firm in Michigan is accepting calls from any VAST Performance customers that are interested in seeking a return of money paid for work performed prior to June 10, 2011. This is the firm that won back the car and money for the Audi owner detailed on the Lawsuit page. Call (248) 454-0800 to speak with them.

Keep in mind that VAST Performance was not a licensed repair facility until June 10, 2011. If the shop wasn’t licensed do you know if the mechanic that worked on your car was properly licensed? They should have been (257.1305 sec 5 (1) ) “Effective December 31, 1977, all motor vehicle repair facilities must have at least 1 specialty or master mechanic in its employ certified in each category of repair which it provides.”

Have you subsequently had a component failure that you dismissed as being due to bad luck? If an uncertified mechanic worked on your car in the past would you wonder if a future component failure might be attributed to that lack of certification? Read the Lawsuit page to learn about all of the errors that were made to that owners Audi. Do you want to wait to find out if your car was properly serviced? Take action now and call! (248) 454-0800

I may be pro vast, but I'm also an advocate against vendor/manufacturer harassment, and adhering to the forum rules. If this was about APR or REVO I would make the same posts and actually have in the past.

Now that's been said I'm going to stay out of this and hopefully people understand this is one side of the picture, painted by a unhappy customer.

i can agree with that to an extent.

but theres also a question of research and warning for those they might be in contact with. if a company's practice is becoming continually poor, non-responsive, or irresponsible, fair and clear warning should be posted for all to review.

VAST is getting what they deserved with this, but also getting screwed at the same time. I'm willing to bet there are tons of customers who were satisfied with their work but are going to file for a refund anyway just because they can, unless there's some way to protect against this?

I was wondering when the B7 section would get a taste of this and the story that flyboys4 posted isnt even the worst one the built avant from Florida(I think) being destroyed by vast was pretty bad imo. Too many problems with vast mismatched injectors clutches that fail in a few thousand miles or less poor engine builds. Just no reason to go vast.

idk where this thread is... but that's the real horror story. beyond the scope of comprehension, i'm sure someone will dig it up and throw it in here soon, and that one is not about bad customer service, they destroyed his motor...

Actually, I would not be able to paint the picture if it weren't for my bad experience, z-tuned's bad experience, evilevo's bad experience, sparkyvw's bad experience, nehalem's bad experience, malmhead's bad experience, outinfront75's bad experience, etc., etc. My own situation is a story unto itself, but the collective experiences of these other owners is the real story. Hearing from VAST is pointless, they're a group of liars and will say whatever needs to be said to try and advance their cause. I'm not going to proclaim to be a Saint, but I'm also not so pathetic as to have to lie to make my point. The flaw in the statement about VAST not being here to defend themselves is that they'd be telling the truth, which is highly unlikely.

I can envision a reason why you would not want to tell the truth like maybe to get money out of them or free stuff or just to harass them because you didnt get your way. And the truth or lies has a large list of grey shades from ebelishment to miscommunication, to stretching to make something seem one way instead of another way.

I read over your posts and reasonably can believe there have been issues. To what extent and to how much is embelished and manuafctured to gain to your viewpoint is probably there. People have this mentality that its their way or else they will start posting horrible things and try and ruin a repuatation. I am glad you are getting money back or whatever if you were truly harmed but lets face it. That lawsuit isnt winning on the merits of improper work or faulty craftsmanship (even if that may be the case). You are using a legal loophole and a statute to obtain a judgement against the company and portraying it as if you were getting a settlement based on the merits of actually having your car broken/damaged/unfinished by them.

Further you seem to repeatedly make posts, stupid videos, etc as we have seen from many others to because they just want to cry about an issue over and over to hurt the business/reputation/etc. And you sir have taken this far far to the extreme with thread derailment, repeated threads on the same topic in various forums over various time period. And your obviously doing this maliciously at this point with the number and frequency you have hit. Again even if you are correct which you quite frankly may be you are really showing why you are truly doing this and what your end purpose it and its turning a lot of people off and they are getting annoyed.

Again I am not saying you are wrong in attempting to seek money back etc. But you clearly have demonstrated you are hellbent on reputation ruiining because you didnt get your way or how you like it even though they may or may not have done what they were supposed to.

Quite honestly if they were still a paying advertiser you surely would have had infractions or have been banned for this level or harrassment given audizine's past infraction/banning repuation when attacking a paying advertiser, even if justly so. Plus they certainly can not defend themselves which obviously is a plus to you continuing these threads because you know they cant do anything about it and is probably one of the reason's you continue. So obviously if someone cant defend themselves they should be give the benefit of the doubt as the comments in many cases are surely disputable and far from evidence grade in many cases.

As a disclaimer I have never actually purchased or owned a single vast product at all. I also have never taken my car to their shop but I was somewhat close once when driving through detroit if that counts lol.

Sure, I could be making everything up, which is why I've tried to collect the experiences that other people have had, to show that I am not unique in being treated poorly by VAST. I also continue to engage in discussion with people like yourself so that you can ask questions and try to determine for yourself whether or not you believe the the facts I present.

You seem to be confusing me with the person who had their car held by VAST, the person who pursued the lawsuit. You also say you have read the posts but you missed out on the fact that there wasn't a judgment rendered, the case was settled out of court before going to trial. Can you understand how I might become suspicious that you didn't actually read about what happened when your retelling of the events does not agree with the legal documents I posted?

Threads on a forum have a way of disappearing over time. It surprises me how frequently I'll see a post from someone asking about VAST Performance who has no idea of the headaches some people have endured because of VAST. You're exaggerating the amount of posts that I make, and making posts on different forums is sensible because there are people who will exclusively read particular forums and not others. I feel the information about VAST is important to get out there, realize that people who work hard to earn their money are being short changed by VAST, that's an important message to spread.

So, as you say, I am not wrong in seeking reparation (which I am not at this point doing), and you have concluded I didn't get my way or how I like it (and just what was 'my way' or how I liked it? I'll give you a hand with that one, I simply wanted to receive what I paid VAST Performance in FULL for), and VAST may have or may not have done what they were supposed to. Really, if VAST did what they were supposed to, (what I paid for) then what reason would I have to be angry with them? You are starting to simply fabricate your own scenario to allow yourself to spout off your opinion, which is fine, that's what the forum can be used for, but pardon me for not taking you seriously.

Actually, I would welcome VAST to come onto a public forum and engage me on this matter. When Andrew sent me an email 'threating' to air my dirty laundry I responded to please go and do so, I'd welcome the opportunity to discuss this issue, or any others in public. He never responded. I can forward you those email's if you'd like. I've said it before but it is worth repeating for your benefit, I did not handle everything perfectly, but I never did anything dishonest. VAST kept all of my money and did not deliver what I paid for, they breached the agreement and fell back on a deceptive business practice to protect themselves.
