I won't go into the whole story, but basically I approached them about getting some custom wheel adapters made after I saw their products at RAI. Initially their communication was great and it was something they seemed enthusiastic about. In fact it was a product they had been thinking about and was actually in development. That was back in August of last year.

They've had one of my wheels since mid-October and gave me a timeline of 4-5 weeks, since they were busy and produce a bunch of other products for a bunch of other industries (even though their Website makes them out to be VW/Audi enthusiasts). Well it was Winter so I figured I could wait 4-5 weeks. I started e-mailing them again back in November and hadn't heard a peep from them since. I left half a dozen phone messages at their shop (nobody ever picked up the phone when I called) and nobody ever called me back.

Finally spoke with someone today and the guy was a total prick...saying this was such an infinitesimal sale, etc, etc, and because it was a custom product they would get to it when they could. This was much different from their original estimate of 4-5 weeks. Total waste of my time and not what I was expecting from a shop that purports to "live and breathe for the VW/Audi scene".

Did you pick your wheels back up yet? That really blows...talk about a short-sighted sales approach. Sorry for your agony.

I've dealt with a LOT of companies over the course of 8+ years of Audi ownership and this was hands down the most negative experience I've had to date. Wheels are not back in my possession yet...hopefully they get them back to me soon.

Good! I guess if you are into modding cars for long enough you are going to run into this type of company...I certainly have. Hope you are able to get your spacers...

Yes...that is unfortunate but true. Hopefully people will read this thread and think twice about doing business with them.

I've been in touch with 42 Draft Designs already about these adapters/spacers...and so far I'm optimistic that they will come through for me. They're doing some pretty interesting things with spacers and adapters (interchangeable centering rings, etc).

42DD did all my powdercoating (thru Induktion) so I can vouch for their work and reputation. I would not hesitate to get anything from them.

I've always had a good experience with 42DD.

I've actually ordered my custom adapters from a place out in Nevada. The specs on these wheels are a little strange, and they had already done a set for another guy I knew. No need to re-invent the wheel. OMG...no pun intended!

Anyway...here's a link to their shop. ALL THEY DO IS WHEEL SPACERS! I had never heard of them, but I spoke to the owner today and ordered a set. I'll have them in about a week!

    Cool website!

What wheels are you going to run BTW? Something new/exciting for the upcoming season? Pics will be necessary...

Of course! Nothing that hasn't been done before, but I'm still looking forward to the change.

To be honest I'm done with running expensive 19" wheels. The roads around here just beat the Hell out of them...and for a daily driver exotic wheels just don't make much sense. If this were just a show car, or only driven on weekends it would be another matter.
