I know a few who have them. Beautiful car! The 2.0t is in most GTI's so lots of tuning options, but you can also see some of the faults by researching that motor. Cam follower is on issue i am aware of. Probably better to get the VR6 option.
I do know of one guy who had one that developed a syncro issue (manual) just out of warranty, and he was denied coverage, so he sold the car, an swore off VW forever... probably the biggest complaint on VW is the Service department.

I had a 2008 VW Passat with the 2.0T which I believe was the same platform the cc is built on. I enjoyed the car - bought it new and drove it for 20K with zero issues, just gas (excellent milage) and necessary maitnence. The car was plenty quick too and had allot of space which I believe would be a sacrifice in the CC as that has only 4 seats. You also cannot get a true sliding roof in the CC and that was why I did not get one to begin with.

The Passat went away when I traded it for a 2010 Lexus IS250 AWD that was slow by comparison. (had to go with the S4 after that - missed the Audi/VW family and German engineering) I had a 2004 3.0 MT6 A4 before the Passat

    Hope this helps.

The CC is a real looker and has a nice interior. The sloping roofline will undoubtedly lead to some bumped-heads during entry/exit. It's built on a great platform and should serve you well.

CC have the TSI engine, not the FSI which have problematic cam follower issues.

The 2.0t is great on fuel economy.
