I've been waiting for a HPFP since October - the only missing piece I need to finish off the BT project. I've been driving a Volvo V70XC AWD SE ever since, but I miss driving an Audi. Although the Volvo was AWD, to me, there's nothing like Quattro!

An enthusiast friend of mine bought one so his Fiancé could join in on the hobby. Now they bOth mod and she has it looking really good so they take it to the shows as well :-)
Quattro?

Tyra and I shed at the same time every month. True story.
As of right now, I have no plans of doing anything big. I'll probably just do minor stuff like wheels, suspension, exhaust and APR stage 2 software. Although, I had thought of putting a roll cage in there some day. Hehe, it was just a thought!

Hehe! It was either this or Mike @ PrimeMotoring's Ti B7 A4. But then I'd have two cam followers to change every XX miles.

very nice. What was the price jump between mk1 and mk2?
And how does it feel speed wise in comparison to the B7 stock (if you can remember back that far)?

Not trying to rain on your parade and the whole v70xc awd vs. TT quattro; but im pretty sure they use similar systems. I believe both car's use the haldex awd system, in other words there both fwd until they sense slippage. I've hear'd lot's of complaint's with this system. I wouldn't exactly call it a true Quattro system. Either way cool car, always liked the TT's!
looks like a fun DD. i don't particularly like how they look stock, but they can look really funky and cool with some work, and the 1.8t is obviously a fun little motor. good luck with the new car!
I just wanted to update with a few quick shots to satisfy the teaser picture I posted a few days ago. There are internal upgrades that you won't be able to spot, but can you spot the external? I'll post the complete list of modifications when I do a photo shoot in a new thread in the TT section, but I just wanted to share this with my B7 brethren...
I know it needs "moar low," but cut me some slack! I took delivery of this car two weeks ago. Nonetheless, rest assure that coilovers and wheels are next on the list. I'm thinking KW V1 or ST V1 on some VMR VB3s. (Ahem, make it happen, Matt! )
What do you guys think?
