May be a dumb question, but what is the 70% isopropyl alcohol for?

Its diluted 2:1 2 part 70% IPA / 1 part distill water. It can be used for remove polish, wax, and in this detail ( it was used to remove clay-lube lubricates that may interfere with wax bonding to your paint.

Could this be used as like a make-shift wax and grease remover?

No, you will need something like 3M adhesive remover or Stoner's tarminator, and resort to use brake clean last.

I guess I'm just curious as to why one would use the isopropyl blend as opposed to a wax and grease remover. I'm going to school for auto body so I'm trying to learn as much as I can
