I have a set (4) OZ Ultraleggeras. just wondering how much I could get for them. Bought them last spring, been on the car for about 6,000 miles. Pretty much perfect condition... never been curbed, no bends, nothing. I don't see any paint chips on them. here's a shitty picture of them extremely dirty but i can send you high res pics of each wheel. No tires on em.
jw how much people will offer... if its enough I will definitely sell them as they are just taking up space in my room, and i'm looking to go a different route wheel-wise.
pick-up only
edit: Some pictures...
size is 18x8 et35 sorry, i forgot to add some stuff to the description. additional information: I paid 1400+lugs+shipping+wheel locks for these off tirerack (350/each new). I am willing to throw the lugs and wheel locks in there for free. They were purchased in early april, but i didn't get them on the car till mid-may b/c i waited till after exams. and they took a while to get to me lol.
basically i want to get rid of these but only for the right (probably high for a used set of wheels) price. this might not be a good idea for you unless you were going to buy these wheels already. they are 18.6 lbs each, which is 30% lighter than my stockers, and you can definitely tell when driving on em. this is gonna save the buyer a good 200$ in bullshit costs, and then another couple hundred on the wheels, but like i said its not like they're going to be half off. as far as i can tell they are mint, i am just afraid to use that word because although there are no paint scratches or curb rash, someone may nitpick about some dust scratches that i can't see anyway its local pick up only, so you will have to see them first hand before giving me money
i'd consider some wheels i guess, but i'm more looking to push this money towards going BT and go crazy on a set of wheels next year (suck it up on stockers this year)

haha i'm poor and in college, buy them from me, good sir with a real job!!
i agree they'd be sick for winters; if i can't sell em, next winter they will be my winters with something new going on next spring. great weight offset when you're dealing with heavy ass, meaty winter tires lmao. my car feels so much slower since i switched to stockers, especially around corners

That is an oxymoron, especially when you are going BT. Sell me you're xenons!

haha its not an oxymoron! i have no money b/c i'm always in school instead of working, so the money i do make working part time feeds me its too hard to save up when you're in school... I can't wait to graduate, so that i'm not always spending 100% of my money on the car. sooo close! I will save up this summer though, and finish off the car. never really been afraid to spend my last dollar, i just have faith that i'll make a dollar when i need it. its worked out so far haha, and now that i'm almost done with school i have more faith than ever
haha maybe... today i had the realization that a golf R with a stage 1 tune puts down the same numbers a BT b7 A4 does... and a TTRS puts down 400+/400+ with just a stage 1 tune lol so now i'm feeling like i shouldn't spend any more money on this car... i just like it so much more than a golf though! sigh. no idea what i wanna do. and obviously i'm not going to be able to afford a TT-RS right out of undergrad that would be nice though!
I'm gonna go test drive a Golf R and then decide... i really want to test drive a TT-RS haha
torsen>haldex. Get a b8 s4! plus a tune and you will be driving a beast, thought the TTRS is a beautiful car. That would probably be a better option than spending 6k on a turbo kit if you are looking to be 400+

B8 S4 = not my style. honestly a fast car... but i'm a turbo kinda guy; i like the phatty torque increase.
and the b8s4 is fast but doesn't quite feel it. same way i didn't like the n54 335 just not as much fun haha IMO. feel free to hate me for it lol
TTRS is def out of my league... configured it at 63k lol. B8 S4 is equally out of my league, as i'm sure it would be around the same price range. maybe in a few years haha... but its not about making 400+ for me, its just about being semi-fiscally responsible, which is hard to do in this hobby lol, but if its the same cost for me to go full stage 3, built motor, as it will be to sell my car and buy a golf R with 63 miles on it vs. 63k haha, and make the same power? just makes more sense. i'm just not a golf person, so its a toss up. i'm just going to stop spending money on the car until i decide!
torsen is definitely better than haldex. and i literally (mid posting this) just read that the golf R is the 4motion where its FWD most of the time, which i thought they had changed for the new R sigh. but 100% torque to the rear wheels sounds really good for acceleration, which now makes more sense that the APR stage 1 golf R does 0-60 in 4.1s... faster than my b7 will ever be haha. but i feel like i will miss quattro so much in the end, that it makes more sense to save up and try for a 2-3 year old TT-RS haha. idk lol my roommates are getting sick of hearing about it, so i'm sure you guys are. i'm gonna go test drive a Golf R and take it through some twisties... see how i feel about it.
edit: TT-RS is gen IV haldex as well, obviously. i was being a total noob, and fell for audi's website... see below:
my roommate said there's way to get the Golf R to lock into 50/50 f/r torque, or even 100% rwd... wonder if that's true haha!!
edit: after a little research found the HPA haldex controller, which doesn't provide a torque lock but instead different "modes" (eco, sport, race, stock) which adjust the torque bias and how the system reacts. definitely something to get for anyone with haldex, from the reviews i've been reading
satummoo, did you buy another audi? I thought you sold your b7?
I sold my b7, I am looking at getting a cheap car (6kish or lower) as I don't drive a lot and there was no reason having a b7 that just sat most of it's life in the garage. I looked at a lot of hondas and they were all junked out, same with Subarus.
I keep wanting to go back to audi's even though I wanted to try something different and cheaper. I'm looking at a few options now if it's in my price range
