Issue with Audizine member!!

So i am not sure where the best place to put this. I couldn't find a place where i can contact the moderators here on the forum. I asked a member how much he wanted for one of the items he had posted in the classified and gave him my zipcode. then i paid him what he asked and he said he was going to ship in few days. two weeks later, still no item. then after like 3 weeks he said something weird happened with his bank account where he ran out of money and he was going to ship in few days. after a total of 4-5 weeks he said that he checked and it was going to cost too much to ship and that he was going to refund me the money. i ended up paying him more money and then he said he will ship in few days. Now, we are 6 weeks after my first payment, i don't have my money, or my item or any responses from him. (he only responds to one out of 3 messages i send him.). I could easily open a dispute on paypal and make sure i ruin his reputation here on the forum making it hard for him to sell anything but i chose to give him the benefit of the doubt too many times now. I would have also contacted moderators here if i knew how too. i am definitely giving this guy much more respect than he deserves and i feel like he has done nothing but stole my money. I just sent him a text asking him to refund me the money in 48 hours. what do you guys think i should do before i blow it all up in his face.

Personally, I would say 6 weeks is plenty of time to refund the money or send a tracking number, its not you ruining his rep he brought it onto himself. (unless ofcourse there is a real, legit excuse, that is totally different) I doubt any of the senior or key guys would pull that kind of stuff on here, so I wouldnt worry about being jumped all over. I would text or PM him one last time, saying hey I need a paypal refund or a tracking number within X amount of days (you decide) or I will open a paypal dispute. Done deal. I hate scammers, on other forums there are lists of people known to rip off other members. They can contribute in threads, but dont get into classifieds anymore. I am not saying AZ should have that kind of thing, but it is nice to know who is reputable to buy/sell with and who isnt. Classified feedback is always very important.

@ Chknkatsu and Cbaquol, I just texted him and told him he has 48 hours for him to return the money.

@ Voltrons_Head, yes, he said that he later found out that it was going to cost too much money to ship so i asked him if he would take a little more and just ship the item and he said that he was going to ship it. in all honesty i don't care if i end up losing the money but i will make sure this issue will cost him more than i have paid him. The thing is that he doesn't see like the type of member who had the intention of scamming me or anyone else for that matter and he has multiple items still listed. I am relatively a new member here and i have already successfully and happily sold a set of wheels for $1400 to a very nice member in just a matter of couple of days of listing them. I don't understand how people do this and still feel okay with themselves. Weather it's 5 or 500 dollars it's still money that's not yours.

Thanks Anthony for the quick response. If i don't see the money in my paypal in 48 hours i will make sure to let you guys know the name of the member as well as a list of all the communication messages between me and the member thorough my AZ inbox.

Again, dude probably can't actually refund you in 48 hours. Monday is king day, a bank holiday. Saturday is half day, etc. Chkn and the rest of us read perfectly fine.

That would be 2 not 9, i am glad you can count. Usually in a forum, there is a contact page that lists mods and their positions and who should be contacted in certain situations, sorry i couldn't' find that here. Paypal works 24/7, the same way i paid him he can pay me back. you will laugh when you see what one of his messages to me was. Last time i checked, ppl didn't have to visit a bank to do a paypal refund.

Why not list his user name here? This section also gives other forum members a fair warning of scammers, or potential of issues like this (assuming he comes through). I hope everything works out. I have been beat for $50 on here before. It wasn't much, but is enough grounds for me take a gamble on a misdemeanor charge if I see him (simply going off feelings). Not sure what will happen if I see him.

Thats BS man! Noob or not, he reiterated he wasn't sure how to contact mods, he got hosed on an inexpensive item, then a member returns the favor with a smartass exaggerated answer????? Unless those two have had previous issues, I'm not so sure veggie's reply was appropriate.
