I've been shopping for some new wheels for my B6 S4 Avant, and admittedly am not a wheel expert. I figured that since my stock wheels are 18x8 et43, that 18x8 or 8.5 would fit. (I don't want the harsher ride that 19s bring, and I like my current tires, which are fairly new, so I don't want to replace those.) Since I sit fairly low on KW coilovers, I was worried about rubbing if I got an et35 wheel, especially if I went with an 8.5" width. I contacted a couple of different vendors who basically told me that no 18" wheels would fit my car. This puzzled me, as Tire Rack lists many different 18's that are recommended for my car. Jason at ModBargains was very patient with all my questions, and made suggestions of what would work. I wish more vendors had this patience and were as helpful.
