For anyone that has had VAST work on their car prior to June 10, 2011, when VAST Performance worked on your car they were not a licensed repair facility.
Here I've begun collecting some information about VAST Performance.
honestly... through all the garbage, if i was going to drop 5-10k and a vendor acted like it was a pain in their ass to assist me, i'd destroy worlds too.
Here's the email he sent me (I've erased my email and name for a little privacy's sake). It was after this email I decided I'm not going to tolerate this bs.

I have a website & I tell every customer that emails me/us to use it for their orders because you will have a quicker turn around on your order.
And you hit it right on the head, your not a $5,000 customer. In fact I don't even stop & extend myself until you hit around $7,000, sorry once again it's the truth.
Piggies are Piggies and thats all there is to it, they are self explanatory & proven. No I don't have time for 4 emails about them, it's the ugly truth. Unfortunately I am not autozone, your corner speed shop or some huge online warehouse of parts. I operate a large unique company that has only a hand full of employees & only so many hours. 10 years ago Piggies came to market & they are the one and only no nonsense part for your car.

I only have so much time in a day & I am being questioned (being asked questions) on a product that is proven & started this company. wow... the not registered/license as a repair facility is the kill shot. although, I would tell my lawyer to not only list VAST, LLC as defendant but personally name all officers, potential owners, main parties/employees that most communication occurred with, etc. Pretty easy to 'roll up' an LLC and have a worthless judgment.

I hope that will not be the case, even though I will still be considered a "new" guy. If you look through my history of threads you will see that I am not completely oblivious to these cars. I have been following the history of VAST for quite some time, while there is some good things I have heard. There is also a lot of horror story's.
Most of which are of people who are spending 10K+ and STILL get treated very unreasonable... Word of mouth of these types of stories can kill a company. Although I have no personal experience with VAST thank god, I would not be surprised to see them go under for such horrible service.

Yikes! Too bad, I had a really good experience and results with them. Reading those emails from them is just unbelievable, completely unprofessional, and I highly doubt that I'd ever be customer of theirs again unless things get turned around.

I've updated my VAST page with the highlights of the lawsuit that Zawel filed. Incredibly VAST had his car for 2 YEARS! and sent it back to him in pieces. What a disaster, I couldn't image being without my S4 for two years and then when I finally get it back have to take it to EPL to get the work done correctly.

I can feel some of your pain as with me I had remote tuning done and sent my loggings to 2 other tuners and both said that their tuning on my car would end up with a blown motor.. I'd love to get back what I paid minus the starter that died due to their tuning as well as the O2 sensor that died due to the fact that it was completely covered in soot.... But I guess you live and learn from your own mistakes....

Not trying to knock you or anything but I would love to hear how tuning in anyway affects your starter and caused it to fail. I am sure tehre are plenty of issues to potentially blame them with but that is just silly.

Thats no problem... My starter died becasue they could not get the cold start under control requiring me to keep the starter engaged for long periods of time to get it to start ultimately killing it... It's a B7 Direct injection issue that some tuners have trouble with when using RS4 injectors...
