    Coolant/oil fittings

Can somebody help with a line kit I'm putting together. I need to know the type and size of fittings needed for the lines engine side of all turbo feed and return. I haven't got the time to go tearing into it . let me know but if you know it already that would save a bit of hassle. I'm about to go look on ETKA but I need to know lengths for a tidy route to a turbo mounted to a PSI ex. Manifold. All input and suggestion appreciated!

I am assuming this is for a ball bearing turbo? Just wanted to let you know, Jeff does discounts for AZ members. I have his line kit, and the parts are really nice.

But the item description below will tell you what you need. Not all parts are actually needed, and you will be able to tell which ones you do and don't.

It's for a water/oil cooled j.bearing turbo. All I need right now is the type and size of fittings to put on the end of each line. The lengths of the lines also. Thanks for the link.

    Ok thread resurrection,

Just wondering if anyone here has installed psi concept's coolant lines?

Notice the long'ish line that goes back to the coolant pipe...but what I've got is a short'ish line just like the ones on their website :-

    Am I missing something here?

Is it not long enough to barb into the rubber line going to the hard pipe? The short one is for the block (obviously) and the longer one is for the rubber line. I have not installed my kit yet, but seems rather straight forward. thenj3 just installed his, so you can send him a PM or ask in his build thread.

A picture from his thread. You can see the coolant line attached to the stock rubber hose right in front of the cam pulley.

You could always replace the stock rubber hose with a braided hose that you then slip over the nipple on the coolant pipe and over the fitting that came with the PSI kit.

Thanks Mike. Thanks explains everything. As always you've been a good contributor here.

Btw, is Jeff still active at psiconcepts(or psiconcepts still in business?)? I recommended a friend to get a TD05-18G turbo kit through Jeff and somehow my friend said it took ages for Jeff to get back to him. Only got back to him after he emailed paypal about some stuff he ordered. I may create a dedicated thread on this.

I wanted to bump this thread since I have the same question, but for my Frankenturbo setup. Ive already got an aftermarket oil feed line, just need one other fitting to install it, but Im not sure if there is a certain fitting I need to limit the amount of oil going to the turbo. Id like to replace the bulky oil return line as well with something better. The coolant lines, Im not too worried about, but if I were to do so, could the kit above be used, or would I need different fittings. The FT utilizes the same lines as the K03/K04, so if someone has a list of fittings, that would help out a lot.

Was hoping someone could clarify that my last post above is right for my setup, or what needs to be changed.

Sourced all my lines from a local race shop today, along with the blue/red anodized line ends, and the 2 male joints for the oil return line, all for $98. I didnt think that was too bad of a price. Ive still got a few things to order to complete the kit. Much cheaper than buying stock replacement lines.

That's a damn good price. Hope they are quality, because that is what we are mainly buying. For example, ebay fittings will leak on you...badly.

Everything seems legit. He said they order everything from Summit/Earls. Its a big time race shop that has a good reputation, so I doubt theyre using anything thats not good quality.

I was going to say, Earls are really good fittings. I buy stuff from Summit when needed. There or Jegs.

Im waiting delivery on 2 more fittings I had to order from Summit, that the shop didnt have. They dont carry a lot of metric stuff. There are 3 other fittings I need from PSI's kit, but there is no number to call, and waiting on them to reply to my email seems like its taking forever.

The ones I need from PSI are the 2 barbed fittings for the coolant feed and supply lines, and a banjo bolt for the coolant. I actually found them on ebay along with the oil flange adapters for the pan and turbo.
