Just replaced the battery (over seven years and 75 thousand miles I was impressed), but now my revo stage II software is gone as a result. Does anyone in the Boulder area want to let me use their Revo SPS for about 30 seconds? I might just go to 3 zero 3 in denver and use theirs if all else fails. Thanks

Call 3zero3. Talk to Scott or Palmer. Tell them Jonathan Smith sent you their way. Explain them your situation. There's no reason they should charge you for that. Good luck!
thanks man I'll probably be getting down there in a few days. what will timing set to 4 do exactly?
Timing 3 is normal for stage 2 on 91 octane. The cold weather allows for you to increase timing slightly. This small bump has made building boost quicker and about a 1-2 psi increase for me as well. Acceleration feels smoother, throttle is more responsive. Just an overall better feel from the car.
hey I'm at 3zero3, Scott or palmer weren't here but I'm having my timing set to 4. they were hesitant because I don't have an intake but they said it should be fine. can't wait to see how it runs

well, after having some long conversations with a couple different guys and an email from revo, we decided to keep it at 3 for the timing. I was pumped to see what difference it would make but it didnt seem worth the risk. the fact that I don't have an intake, do very heavy 4 or 5 man drives up the Rockies to ski, and that I drive back to sea level every summer seemed to make 4 timing too risky
