Wasssup. I've had a 911, fun but too small. I've had a STI. cheap fun, but every body from micro thugs to old men in Beamers wanna race you. It's also loud. a bit annoying. I've also owned a few GTI's but I grew up from them. So I decide to go with performance with a bit of luxury. lol.. I didnt want to follow the heard and buy a BMW or benz. So I choose the S4. I'm a airplane mechanic so hopefuluy me doing 90% of the maint. it keeps the maint costs down. Although I'll drive the audi most of the time I have a Toyoyta 4X4 truck for back up. C ya around,,
Is there a way that you guys distinguish yourselfs from the other thousand or so audi's? Like a secret hand shake or something lol. I mean if you did see me and started to pace me or speed up on me, I might downshift and be out ;). I do wave to fellow s4 owners. Maybe I should subscribe to the spotted thread.
we look for AZ stickers, AZ license plate frames, and just modded audis in general. I think the awesome thing is no two cars are alike around here, so thats how we tell whos who
Well.....there's 2 Vietnamese guys now with 2 Imola yellow b5 s4 stage 3! You can tell the difference though cuz I'm a better looking guy than the other guy! JOHN! Lol! J/k! ;)
I've noticed a very small leak in the left valve cover gasket. I looked at the turbo's (as best I could) from under the car with a mirror and light. I didnt notice any oil leaking or signs of oil leaks on the turbo's. the oil lines are in good shape, so I dont know where this one mechanic said it was leaking from. Those are pressure oil lines, if they were leaking it would be very noticeable. If it was leaking from the housing then there would be signs,burnt oil stains etc. I didnt see any of those signs. The car holds boost fine, and theres no smoke from the exhaust. So i'll keep my eye on it...
In my past life (sti's) I would look for any little signs of something failing so I could upgrade. And since he was mentioning stage 3 on this one makes me wonder if there was ever suck leak...
Hum I wonder what else he posted about the car...lol...
