Just picked up this 2008 6-speed and cant decide what colors wheels to pull the trigger on. It's between the VMR 708's or the 710's in 19" size. Cant decide between the gunmetal grey or the polished look. My last car was a B5 S4 avant that was Pearl with matte black wheels, and I dont want the super dark wheels again. I'm thinking that I like the polished look with the chrome grill and roof rails, but I figured I would see what the rest of Audizine thought. And yes I need to lower the car, its going to happen in the Spring.[IMG][/IMG]

Honestly, both the VMRs you mentioned, while fine looking wheels, have been done to death. If I were you I'd look into something that isn't as common. And I still say purple

Well I have the titanium package, so I'll be keeping my Ti wheels for the time being. I may also powder coat them a different color. When I do get something else, I plan on either going for some Rotiforms, or seeking out some used multi piece wheels, or something along those lines. There are a ton of different options out there, and it seems like people are always picking the same 4 or 5. That's not to say those 4 or 5 look bad, but it's getting to the point where a bunch of cars on here all look the same, and I'm trying not let that happen to me.
Gunmetal V713 on mine. I was gonna go flat black, but i don't have nice brakes to back up black rims.

Avus is a tough wheel to pull off, especially with an obnoxious color. Personally it's one of my least favorite OEM wheels, but I've seen a couple applications that look good

The problem is with the spokes being so wide, any color ends up just looking too much (for lack of a better way to describe it).
