Retrofit control light LED, from safe function in the passenger door.
Anyone know, of it is possible, to ad, also a control light (K-133) LED, from the safe function in the passenger door, like in the the driver door.
Number 9 on the drawing
I only find the LED on the electic drawing from the driver door, not on the electric drawing from the passenger door.
Last spring I did a complete retrofit.
I buy a right-hand drive leather electric interior from eBay.de, complete with the 4 door panels.
And I retrofit it, in my left-hand drive A4-B8: http://www.audiforum.nl/forum/b8-200...ml#post1103672
So I have already those extra parts :
-the extra unlock/lock button, from a rightdoor.
-the control light LED from the safe function.
-switch, for open the trunk, from a rightdoor.
Actually I never did the conversion. It was something I talked about with a friend of mine but we never proceeded. One thought we has was that the right module may not allow the light if the left module was coded for it. Just like you can't have both mirrors dip when you put it in reverse.
The easiest thing to do would be to put an LED on the connection with some wire and then arm the system to see if it came on. I actually completely forgot about that little project.
Let me know if I can help though, I haven't done it but I'll assist if I can.
Does your RHD drivers door card have memory seat function? I was looking for a RHD panel that had it for a project I was working on :)

Sorry David, the UK electric interior has no memory function.
A member of the Dutch Audiforum (he has a A4-B8 3.2 Quattro from 2008).
Told me, that his car, on both front doors, have the red LED, from factory installed.
I have never seen this, in real life, on any A4-B8 ?
Is there anyone, from the Audizine forum, ever seen this red LED on the passenger side ?
I will test, the control light LED, from safe function in the passenger door.
You can see on the electric drawing from the driver side (T32 J)
-Brown wire for earth
-Black wire, that goes to PIN 1 from T32 J.
There is, no electric drawing in Elsawin from a red LED from safe function, passenger side.
So I will test the Passenger side, on (T32 L)
-Brown wire for earth
-power test on PIN 1 from T32 L

You know what i would do before you start wiring things up.. I should have thought of this sooner. Go into your door modules and set your car to RHD. Now check your current LED. If it still works then you should be able to install one in the passenger side. If it stops working it mean Audi has set the module so it only flashes on the drivers door.
I really should have thought of that sooner...

Good news, I did your testing, and the, red LED still works.
First I changed the drivers door module, from LHD to RHD
42-Door Elect Driver
[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> Byte 5 Bit-0 Change 0 to 1
Lock the car, red LED,
Stay permanent on bright light, not the normal blinking. Closing beep is not working. Opening beeps (2 times) are working
So, I changes also the passengers door module from LHD to RHD
52-Door Elect Passenger
[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> Byte 5 Bit-0 Change 0 to 1
Lock the car, red LED,
Is normal blinking.
Closing beep is normaly working. Opening beeps (2 times) are working.
