March 2nd Georgetown Lake Fun Day GTG

Show time AT Georgetown Lake is going to be 9:30-10:00am traffic dependent.

Anyone in Fort Collins that wants to meet up to drive down I'm heading out at 7:30am. All the FOCO people can meet at the WalMart off Harmony, near the Garden entrance.

There is Wolly Mammoth parking lot off I-70 near Lakewood http://g.co/maps/pw6vg where all parties (FOCO, Boulder, and Denver, Colorado Springs) can meet up to drive out. ETA at the Wolly Mammoth parking lot is 9am

It seemed like most people didn't get enough advance heads-up on the last GTG so this one is 2 months ahead of time. So if you're able to, try and request this day off for those of you that have that option. Really hope everyone can "plan" on making it to this one, especially since, I believe it's the last Fun Day of the season.

Not sure how many of you know about http://www.ourgangiceracing.com/Schedule.html and the ice racing events they hold. But I wanted to see how many people were interested in meeting up for this event. The fee is $5 for the whole day. For my FWD hombre's, feel free to come out too, you just can't race your car on the ice. I looking forward to going and it would be great if a few Zine folk came out too.

You can go boarding every weekend till the 2nd, but if you skip this Fun Day, you'll have to wait dang near 10months for another one. You can eve go boarding after the Fun Day, as you'll already be in the mountains. Don't make me, make JR, make fun of you!!!!

Well they don't require winter tires, just AWD. So while not ideal, I still think you'll be able to get around. They do "Bare Rubber" http://www.ourgangiceracing.com/FAQS.html#anchor_310 so if they can get around, I'd think A/S tires could too.

As per google maps, it's I-25 to I-70 to the lake, no Rt. 6. Did you want to take Rt. 6 to I-70 instead. More scenic but probably slower. I'm game either way.
