Avant tail wiper tension spring

The spring to the rear wiper arm seems to be missing. I have tried searching for and came up unsuccessful.
Does anyone know where i can buy just the spring and are all avant tail wipers the same?

I tried to remove the tail wiper by removing the nut but it was stuck in there pretty well, is there a special way of removing it?
Haven't PB blasted it yet because i was unsure if it would damage the seals.

The rear wiper really doesn't work? I had no idea.
I guess if i have to buy a whole new arm for $50 i would do with this one. Will stop by the VW dealership next week since this is the same item on the touareg

i did the q5 rear wiper swap because i needed to replace the spray jet. it works better and looks much nicer. just make sure that you align it properly before tightening it in. once it goes on its ON. mine is slightly angled up and looks meh

I just put a frameless windshield wiper blade on my OEM rear wiper arm. Go figure.

im guessing the Polo kit will fit on any Avant? Also didn't see ECS selling replacement wipers, just the kit

I just wanted to warn you that the polo kit will not fit the B6/B7 avant without dremeling it. The cap still doesn't 100% fit but it is good enough for me now. The reason is that the spray nozzle and wiper arm is a completely different design.
I'm kinda tired now but i can post part numbers to what is needed if anyone wants to go ahead and do a aero conversion for the b6/b7 avant.

The total price is about should be $60 from genuine audi parts.

^^ Correct. The polo aero kit is not intended for b6/b7 as the mounting post for the wiper arm is different. Like pkny said its possible to make it work but its not "plug n play" type of thing you'll have to modify it to work.

We sell replacement wiper blades for the kit shoot me a PM if you need one!

if you have a b7 then replace it with a q5 wiper instead. it fits perfect.

Unfortunately I don't have information about customer cars. But we have sold a bunch of these kits! It's cataloged for B5 A4 avant, B5 S4 avant, C5 Avant,and Allroad.

Thanks those are the right part numbers. I miswrote the part numbers and got the kit from ECS. It works and saved me $15 but, the cap isn't the most prettiest around.
