I'll definetly try to go to the next meet up if it's close by, I'm probably going to be the absolute most stock car there, lol trying to pay for mods without a regular source of income is not easy lol

Admittedly, I didn't read all 7 pages, but would USP Motorsports be amenable to hosting a get together?
I live in Boca, work in Ft. Lauderdale and have been meaning to get over there anyway to check out the shop.

The weekend of the 31st is the track meet down in Homestead. Let's do a last minute get together this Saturday, March 24th around 10am. I have been asking for suggestions in the Pompano/Ft Lauderdale area but no one has thrown out any ideas. If you have a better location throw it out there. I came up with these two choices:
1. Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach (Powerline and Hillsboro)
2. Mills Pond Park in Ft. Lauderdale (Oakland Park Blvd and 95)
Anyone have a better location??
Who's in?

I have the same routine as you do haha. From palmetto to cypress in the S5. Well I used to, now I'm in Miami most of the time.
And I wouldn't be able to make it to the meet if you guys do it on the 24th. Maybe my brother can make it.

Just a question, what is the reasoning behind meeting at 10am on a Saturday? I thought meets were at night. I will try to attend as I want to meet other Audi guys, but is the meet just to talk about the event on the 31st, or are there other things planned? i.e. Group membership, meet and greet, eat some grub, drink a beer perhaps.etc......

I personally prefer meets later in the afternoon or on Sunday but if you read back a few pages you will see people preferred meeting Saturday mornings. This is not to talk about the event on the 31st, I didn't organize that one. It's a meet and greet - an opportunity to hang out with new friends, talk about cars, grab some food, etc. The turnout at previous meets has been between 15-40 people. It's always a good time. The more the merrier.

What about we Set a date and spot for an "official" meet. Like April 14th in Ft Lauderdale at Mills Pond Park... That's about three weeks from now so there's time to think about it or prepare or whatever. And it's a pretty central location. Works for me...

Hamid,
We will do an official meet in April. I've been swamped with work and haven't had a lot of spare time to plan anything. I've also given a lot of thought to having an "official" meeting time and location, like the Thursday night United_Euro group. I'm still toying with some ideas but this will happen soon. The hardest part is finding a location that's suitable for everyone. I'm always open to ideas so if you have some throw them out to the group. It has to be a central location close to 95.

I just bought a 2000 S4 six speed in Nogaro blue. It's in New York and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I'll be bringing it to Stage 3 right away. I'm in Royal Palm Beach. I haven't read through the whole thread yet - but I'm guessing you locals meet at Tower Shoppes. Right?

I've decided on Quiet Waters Park on Saturday at 10am. We'll grab lunch after at a great burger place near Hillsboro and Federal Hwy. Charm City Burgers. I think the park charges $1.50 to get in but it's really nice there. Will make for some great pictures.
Who's in?
Quiet Waters Park
401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach, FL 33442
From 95 get off at Hillsboro and go west to Powerline. Head south on Powerline. Quiet Waters is on the west side of the street.

Thanks. They look "right" on the S4.
Otherwise. If the next meet is some time in late April or May, I should be able to make it. I think I'm going to remove my S4 badge and replace it with 1.8T and A4 badges. :p Most people will have no idea WTF is going on.

Saw a white S4 with some sort of aftermarket exhaust last night on the Sawgrass. Looked like it might have been titanium package rims but it was dark and could not tell. I turned left on Powerline and it went straight :(

ACSF Paintball GTG
Ok, so I'm throwing this idea out there as an alternative to the meet and greet type of get togethers we've been having. It's time for an ACSF paintball day! Lee, another ACSF member, said there is a very cool paintball place near the Hard Rock in Hollywood. He was there last week and said it was great. We can rent all the equipment we need for $45 including 500 paintballs. Plus, if we can get 10 or more people we might be able to get a discount.
If you haven't played paintball before, it's tons of fun. It's your chance to be a weekend warrior and kick some ass. There is some inherent danger, though, as getting hit with a paintball does hurt. It is not for the weak hearted.
The link to the paintball field is here http://www.erpark.com/index.php
I called and they have Saturday, April 14th available. We will need a reservation so I can't say exactly what time until I know how many people are coming. Some time in the early afternoon would be ideal. Who's in for paintball?

In case anyone is interested, I'm doing an EP Labs full (all supporting mods) Stage 3+ build with Tial 770Rs and methanol injection... I don't know if anyone else in this area has something like that. In any event, everything should be done within a month.

Ha 1 month huh? That'd be a record. Is the motor built already?
-
Most places down here quote a complete stage 3 installation with turbos, full exhaust, clutch, flywheel, brakes and SMICs at a week and a half to two weeks. Maybe they're not busy these days.
