I picked up at '12 A4 Avant Premium Plus a few weeks ago. It has the B&O and Smart Key which were the two options that were a must for me. The sports package would have been nice but wasn't a huge concern as I already planned for coilovers and an RS5 wheel with paddles anyway. I like the sport seats for around town but for long trips I haven't had the best luck with sport seats in other cars due to my bad back and the sport seats not allowing me to shift around in the seat. So I'm not too concerned with not having them.
So far I've added a set of ST coilovers, plasti dipped the grille and splitter, tinted 20% all around, and debadged the rear. I plan to do the rear valence as well as do the interior LED light package and tint the front reflectors over the winter. Come spring I will get some 19s and start on some ECU and other performance upgrades. Here is how it looks so far, sorry for the crappy iPhone pics...visiting family in Idaho and don't have my camera.
I painted it while the grille was on and just masked everything off around the grille and back behind it to protect the radiator and intercooler. I also masked the Quattro emblem. I didn't mask the rings, just pulled the plasti dip off after. This method didn't work perfectly and it pulled the plasti dip up on the grille in a few spots, even after scoring it with an exacto knife. I need to figure out a different method. I may just try to touch up the few spots that pulled up with a small brush.
Looks beautiful!! I wanted a white S-line avant so badly when I purchased, but the closest thing I could find was a black avant with the sport package.
Great avant! How do you like the STs so far? When you have a moment can you take some pics of the ride height/tire and wheel well gap without the shadows? Just trying to see as many ST setups as possible as I'm interested in picking up a set for my avant but don't want to be a ton lower than my oem s-line height. Thanks!

Wondering the same how ur liking the ST coilovers??? About to pull e trigger on a set... Any chance you had KW on a previous ride? I know KW acquired ST so wondering how they compare @ 1/2 the price..???

Thanks guys. I like the STs so far. The ride is firmer but still comfortable. The ST is exactly the same as the KW V1 except for that it is galvanized instead of stainless. I coated them in Boeshield which was highly recommended for rust prevention. I'm at 25 3/4" ground to fender in the front and 25 7/8" in the rear so it's a conservative drop. I will get some up close pics of the gap...about a finger gap all around. I still have plenty of room to bring it up as well.
Not sure on wheels yet. I was thinking maybe some 19x9.5 VMR 701s or 718s in gunmetal or matte black...not sure what would look best on the car. I'm still trying to find wheels that I like as well.

Got my gunmetal VMR 701s on over the weekend. They are 19x9.5 ET45. I also got a set of Whispbars and ordered a Thule Atlantis 1200 in black. Now I just need to decide if I want to wrap the trim and roof rails in matte black or not.

Thanks! I messed with it a bit after getting all the noise issues worked out and got the stance just where I wanted it. Plus the brighter pics help show what the true gap is. I know what you mean...so many good looking wheels it's hard to settle on one.

Did you wrap the trim yourself? Just wondering how difficult it really is. Car looks fantastic - very clean!
No I had a local shop do it. It cost me $275 for the window trim and roof rails, material included. I don't think it would be very hard if you have a warm, well lit place to do it and a good amount of patience.

Love what you've done with your Avant! I think it looks perfect as is. Any more black accents and you're on your way to a black roof spoiler, tinted tails, etc which would cheapen the look you've already achieved. Just my opinion but i would move on to the "ecu and other performance mods" part of your build now.

Thanks. Yea I understand what you mean. I'm leaning toward keeping it as is and going with a stage 1 and an AFE or K&N filter. Now I just need to decide whether I want REVO or APR...
