Anoyone with a vent mounted boost gauge in a b6 or b7 want to meet up in January?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
As the title says. I am thinking hard about getting an AWE vent mount gauge but I would like to see one before I pull the trigger. I'm deciding between the AWE gauge or a Podi steering column mounted gauge. I would love to meet up with someone in the Downtown/Queen Anne/Fremont/Ballard etc. area to check out your gauge and maybe grab a beer and shoot the shit. I'm looking for a b6/b7 so if you have a b5 or b8 you're useless to me . Hit me up, or send a PM. Cheers fellas.

Yea I'm definitely interested. The holidays pretty much wiped out my "discretionary" spending fund though so unfortunately, the car fund is empty for the moment. Hopefully one of these days. Now that I've VAGed to DRL fogs I think the Projector fogs might be pretty useful though.

Unum, I PM'ed you back. I'm down for meeting up one of these days. I'd love to see the AWE gauge!

I totally understand i wanted to his you up since you asked a long time ago. If your oem housings are in decent shape i would possibly just trade for those and a couple bucks. Just let me know when you are interested.

For sure. I'm struggling with my "new" Symphony II+ and the dreaded CD Service Error now. One thing at a time!

The 14th? Sounds good to me. This Saturday might be a bit tighter but I'll see what I can do. Already got Sunday booked with car related wrenching so the girl gets pretty annoyed when I'm busy being a car nerd the whole weekend. Even when I'm fixing HER car...

Hmm. Didn't know ECS had the vent mount. I thought they only had a steering column kit. That could be another option. Evo, I just realized you had the ECS one also. Any chance either of you would mind throwing a pic up for me?!

The boost gauge is definitely in my future, but It might be a few months. Headed to Mexico in Feb and I can think of MANY better uses for $200 down in mexico than a boost gauge!

Still interested in meeting up Saturday though. I've got a few projects lined up: New 710N to be installed, and new fuel filter. After that the car needs a bath and I might try to tackle my B7's Thermostat as well as my b6's Rear flange. Of course its going to rain and not sure if my buddy will be around to let me use his garage...

Yeah i can try to take some pics tomorrow. I need to show off the new smyphony 2+ and my rs6 shifter. :D. I could potentially meet up on saturday too. I am having my roommates buddy from work install a new steering rack so once its done i am free for the rest of saturday and sunday. Shoot me a pm if you wanted to check out my setup as well.
