So what year did you purchase it? 99.5's are the best in my opinion i don't mind the stock sport wheels I have (the first picture except I have some curb rash on one wheel). Maybe post an interior pic with the current setup pic?

It was early '11 or late '10. Yea, I liked my swings a lot but they got boring.
The interior is Ecru/black and is in decent shape (no driver's side rip). I need to clean it since there are a lot of indigo denim stains on the driver's seat.

I finally get your name now, as other posters mentioned. I feel you on the Tuition hikes, they suck. I want to really get my car going in a different direction and make it my own, but its so tough with school, rent, car payment, and everything else. Clean car.

The "coolgray" part of my screen name is from sneakers - I was a big sneaker collector when I first bought my car. If I would have quit buying so many damn shoes, I would have money for my car.

Thanks! I had thought of a FWD B5 too, but I drive up through the snow once in a while to visit my brother.
Doing errands today. Didn't really have time to get "good" pictures.

looks really good! I would suggest just to kill the wheel gap. Nothing drastic though.

If anything I'll bring it down to ~ 24.25 and 24.5. It is currently not leveled.

ahh thought so I got the cool grey 11's along with a shitload of retro j's/nikes in my closet. Since buying the A4 my shoe addiction swayed to the audi world.

haha, same here. Are you on any of the sneaker forums? The "coolgray" was from the first retro that came out (in the early '00's).
So, I think I need to get my fender's rolled. While turning into driveways, I hear a weird noise from my passengers side (when turning left). Can someone reassure me that I need to have them rolled?
Oh yea, and I picked up two SSR Comp spares.

Kind of a grind/screech/rub noise? Time to roll.

It almost sounded like metal to metal of something like that. My mom thought it was a manhole cover.
I inspected inside the wheel-well and couldn't find a trace of rubbing. In my opinion, that is the only plausible thing that can be happening.
I will be rolling soon - just in case.

Not a lot has been done since my last update since I have started class.
This past weekend, I attended a local meet. I don't have any pictures but I really enjoyed meeting the members: they were mature and responsible.

I'm going to use this as my "blog."
Today I received a rebuild kit for my Forge DV (paid free.99 for it).
After putting the wheels on my car, I am getting a lot of compliments and thumbs up from people.
I also had one particular incident that I found funny (at last weekend's meet).
Guy (in Russian accent) - "I like the rims on this car. What is the brand?"
Me - "Thanks, the wheels are SSR."
Guy - "Ohhhhhh, Japanese rims."
I am also going to be purchasing some spacers for the rear. I like the front fitment, but the rears are more sunk in - it looks like I'm running wider wheels up front.
