Since I know people are looking for this information. I have sat down and prepared build lists for each possible starting point to retrofit these taillights. Note that RoW means "Rest of World" which includes everything other than North America.
These taillights can be fitted to any and all A5, S5 models. This is preliminary pricing which would essentially be on special until the end of the year. Prices tend to change when the new year hits, so these may change. There is also the possibility of a group purchase which would bring pricing down a bit.
These kits would include the RoW taillights and needed harnesses/modifications to provide a plug in installation. Note that NA LED and all bulb cars that are converting need to run one wire per side from the inner to outer taillights, very similar to the pre-facelift conversions in that sense.
Rear fog light use is only available for RoW vehicles at the moment. I will look into making this function available for NA vehicles with the RoW switch that has rear fog light control.
North American converted to RoW LED Taillights:
A5, S5 Post-Facelift LED Taillight Package - $1099.00 set (Retail - $1461.00)
North American LED Taillights:
A5, S5 Post-Facelift LED Taillight Package - $1199.00 set (Retail - $1572.00)
North American Bulb Taillights:
A5, S5 Post-Facelift LED Taillight Package - $1199.00 set (Retail - $1572.00)
RoW LED Taillights:
A5, S5 Post-Facelift LED Taillight Package - $1099.00 set (Retail - $1461.00)
RoW Bulb Taillights:
A5, S5 Post-Facelift LED Taillight Package - $1199.00 set (Retail - $1572.00)
I know this will probably raise some questions as there are a fair number of options. Whatever you have currently in your A5 or S5 will determine which kit you need and your pricing.
If you have any questions let me know and those of you who asked for quotes will see this shortly. If you want a delivered quote please state what taillights your car currently has now and delivery location so I know exactly what you need.

Alex, will us A/S4 owners be able to upgrade to the Refresh Avant/Allroad tail lights? They look like a physical fit, so I guess the only hurdle is the wiring similar to the A/S5 tails.
It appears the A4, S4 avant facelift tails will work, but I haven't dug into wiring, functions, etc. The A4, S4 sedan will require a new trunk lid as the shape of the taillight changed.
Yeah I think anyone who wants to update the rear of the A4, S4 sedan might want to wait until we see those parts stateside first. Then it wouldn't be so bad replacing the trunk for the newer lights and newer appearance.
A7 tail lights have the same LED bar shape, they look great at night, along with the super wide central brake light. Audi has by far, the best lighting, front and back.
Very interested in getting me a set [in the near future].
Are these be plug and play? No coding needing from the buyer's end?
Also, what exactly do you mean by Bulb Taillights?
RoW Bulb Taillights:
A5, S5 Post-Facelift LED Taillight Package - $1199.00 set (Retail - $1572.00)
Coding from DavidB8 is required, this is not plug&play. Bulb taillights refers to early model A5/S5's with no LED taillight at all. The harness from a non-led to a 2013 refresh is more extensive hence the difference in price.

Hey Brian, I'm just trying to get an idea of what it would take to apply this mod to my vehicle and what kit I would need, and if I'd need any VAG com coding? I currently do not have a VAG com cable or a laptop I could use it with. Can you tell me what would be required?
Thanks!

Alex@Europrice will be able to get the lights/harness for you and DavidB8 will be able to code them. Contact both of them for more info.
Since the coding requires access to a VAG-COM, you could ask in the regional section if anyone has one and would be able to help you out. I'm sure you would be able to find someone.

None of these kits will ever not require coding through either David or some type of dongle if ever offered for US market. The coding that is being posted isn't going to solve what needs to be done with cars. The wiring to change from bulb to facelift taillights is what is key, then the coding to match it. If anyone were adventurous enough to try coding in this fields with this set of values it would NOT yield functional taillights with the adapter harnesses I offer with kits. This especially rings true for NA bulb coupes which I have to specific wiring to get functional as there are not enough channels to make all of the functions work.
I am working on harnesses right now for another set of NA bulb to facelift RoW LED tails right now and there is a load of taillights arriving in shortly as well for other kits.
Having VAGCOM handy for your vehicle, even regardless of wanting to fit these taillights, is something anyone who likes to mod should have. It's worth it's weight in gold and I actually just recently updated mine from an ancient style a few days ago, too many newer cars around that need CAN communication and more advanced functions.

Love the look of these tail lights and especially the newest LED's from Audi. Does it cost anything extra to have DavidB8 code them?

IMO, yes it is extra. How much is between you and David. However, you have to look at this way: he's the only one that can do this for you and he is now relying on his Audi expertise as an income. Pay him for his time accordingly.
How does DavidB8 code them? Is this something that needs to be done in person, or is it remotely? What does the coding process actually mean when it comes to VAG
Thanks!

Can anyone tell me if Audi Service/Dealership could order and install the 2013 LED lights? My friend just orderd 2013 tail lights for his 2011 Mustang through Ford and having them installing them. Is this at all possible through Audi?

This cannot be done at a dealership as if they even have access to these adaptations they wouldn't have any idea what to change to get these properly coded. Coding matches harnesses that come with kits such as the ones I sell, it isn't just factory setting, custom coding is required. David is the only person who has this information handy and would be able to do this coding to match the pre-made kits. Taillights do not plug and play by themselves.
The coding process is simple, requires VAGCOM (VCDS), a free program called Teamview and an internet connection. David remotely logs into your computer/laptop and does custom coding to suit the available kit.
VCDS is a must for any Audi owner, especially if you intend to own the car past warranty, or keep buying new models. Such a useful tool, not only for changing settings but performance logging and troubleshooting.
(Also in the box: folding mirrors, RS4 pedals, black optics grille/foglight trim - just waiting on RS5 door pulls - it's like Christmas a month later, but you had to pay for your own gifts )
