Doc, any info on pricing, weight, availability?

Inventory is slowly trickling in, but still very little in 5x112. 18x8.5 is initially priced at $ 233 per wheel, 18x8 at $ 225 per wheel. Enkei was "non committal" about the weights, so we'll know more once we get a better sample size to check. I'm guessing the the 19 lb. range.

Nothing that we have measured yet. I would not expect a noticable difference the 8" and 8.5" wheels

beautiful wheels, though i am not a fan of bigger wheels prone to damage with the rubber band tires needed for bigger diameters, pa roads can be pretty rough, i would go with a 17" setup if available, spacers can be used to push them out if necessary, although it adds cost but little weight compared to using wider wheels to get them out on my 01 TT that seems to swallow the wheels and tires like the old 60-70's cars did

Is there a reason why the Enkei Raijin 18x8 ET 35 (5x112) is not shown as an option for the B8 S4 (2010+)? Other 18x8 ET35 wheels are offered.

Looks like the design of the wheel makes for a tight fit at ET35, so we recommend ET45 for a "safer" fit

Tight in what way? Isn't the rubber of the tire in the same absolute place in the wheel well with any ET35 wheel? Or is there some area of the metal of the wheel that's a problem?

The design of the wheel (thickness and shape of spokes, location of the "drop center" on the barrel, etc can dictate fitment, so not every ET35 wheel will fit exactly the same. I had our wheel techs look at the drawings on the Raijin again and they are willing to add that wheel to the list of approved wheels for B8 with the understanding that the lower offset may cause a little rub at the fenderlip if the car is lowered (by more than 2").....

So that's the tire rubbing on the front fender lining / screw?
By the way, I sent you an e-mail with a few other questions.
