I know everyone has a stretch of road they love to drive for one reason or another. This thread is to reveal those roads to the rest of the members.

One of the roads I like to travel is RT10 between Morgantown and Reading.

River Rd from Columbia PA to Susquehannock park.

You pass some cool stuff and several nice parks... there are some side trips you can make off this route too.

Loch Raven up to Fallston is always a great drive and coming down Harford Rd through the 7 Sisters (crazy turns/bends) is fun.

Rt 77- Bww to Bww is always a nice run. Be sure to stop at Cunningham Falls park, but beware the Feds at Camp David at the top. Cameras everywhere.

I have two roads for you guys.

The first is heading west on Georgetown Pike right off 495 and is a blast if there is not too much traffic. There are a lot of grade changes and tight twists and turns with a high speed limit for what it's worth.
    http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Ge...ra=ls&t=h&z=15

The second set of roads is a big Z shape that starts on Clifton rd and ends on at the Prince William parkway. It has a lot of nice straights and long gentle bends again at a high speed.

I was just getting ready to post this one... there are some fun roads up here. You can run up 77 then turn back towards Cunningham Falls State park and past it and loop the whole way back down to 15- its a nice fun route to drive.
Or you can go up 77 and turn into Catoctin Mtn Park and up over the mountain which goes by Camp David (or Camp #3 as they have it labeled).

Another drive from the same area:

It goes up through Michaux State Forest through the mountains and last summer we even extended it up to Laurel Lake and then onto Kings Gap State Park. It was a long day but it was a fun drive.
    http://g.co/maps/29h4e

Another route we love to take is 234 the whole way from York to Rte 30 near Cashtown (West of Gettysburg).
    http://g.co/maps/am245
We usually decide to hit a couple of the wineries if we go out through this route, there are 3 near the end of it in the Gettysburg area- Reid's right on Rte 234, Adam's County and Hauser Estate both near the Rte 30/ Cashtown intersection

Harrisonburg VA to Elkins WVA. Great views. Lots and lots of corners!! If you drive it hard, ensure your brakes are fresh......
