Thank you to all the members who supported DipYourCar.com during the first couple months. I really appreciate all of the feedback from my PlastiDip projects. Our goal is to provide the guides, examples, support and obviously the products to my fellow Audizine members at the lowest prices possible.
Nice I've never heard of this before. I have my front grille dipped its held up great. No rock chips etc. The paint I had on my last grille would get chips but not the dip.
i put 8 coats of plasti dip on my rear bumper trim on my b6 and after a year it started to peel. but it does look great if done right. i don't know about a whole car though. or wheels.

Cool, do you have any deals on the Plastidip for your tools? the one you dip into? i had a hard time finding it as Homedepot and other big stores had no clue what i was talking about. I use it to coat the ends of pliers so you dont scratch things up.

Yup! We have the Black in Liquid form - used for dipping things like tool handles just as you described. Retails for $8.98 - we sell it for $6.50. Not on the website.. if you want to order it just shoot me an email: Fonzie@dipyourcar.com

Nice! Question; would PlastiDip hold up better on my RS4 grille trim better than regular spray paint? It has been on for almost a week now and is already chipping
Thanks for the compliment good sir

Yes it will way better. I've gone from paint to dip on my grille and it is way better.

Too bad they don't make the yellow in a spray can, only the paint can.
I have a solution for that problem - I thin down yellow - make it sprayable - and provide a disposable sprayer that comes with the kit. Send these kits out all the time!

As the previous helpful members stated, the dip will hold up considerably better to fading, chipping, road debris - and most of all is removable if need (unlike paint)
