    Washing Car in Winter Months

    Hello,

I have a black 2008 Audi A4, whats the best way to wash the car in the winter (Michigan)? The car was clay barred/polished/wax prior to winter but i do not want to create a bunch of new scratches with the salt on the car.

    Thanks

I am also curious, for I just did the same process in preparation for winter. Only difference is my car is white

Nice Garage man! and ONR is the best for winter wash, I dont really trust Griots NR.

On a sunny day, take it to a DIY wash. That's how I clean my cars during the PA winters.

    x2...love the self-wash spots.

I've been using Griots spray on car wash for three winters now with very good results. No scratches or other ill effects. I have a good sealer/wax base though. Take it to the spray wash place when the temp is above freezing as much as I can. Hate a dirty car even during winter.
