I know that I wouldn't be cluttering up the forum if I had only started a build thread. Well sorry, I'm adding mods piece meal.
I purchased the parts from ECS Tuning. They had a sale $189 and free shipping. Here is the link http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_A4-...rts/ES1892340/
I had the best, most reputable body shop in town install them. $500 including paint, clear coat and install. I'm sure I paid premium for reputation, but the install is perfect. The owner said that most of the time was spent taping, laying out and marking hole location. There is a sweet spot for the skirt front to back and on the crease of the rocker panel. He made sure he explained how much time he spent doing the lay-out. He was working off of a quoted price, and may have spent more time than he anticipated.
None the less, I love the look.
I can take more pics if anyone is interested. It is cold and foggy here in the PNW, and the car needs to be washed.
If you don't look back at your ride when walking away, you need to change the look.

+1. Congrats on the sideblades. One of my few remaining tasks.
+2. I caught myself several times taking a quick look after stepping out my car.
Although they are relative simple of design, the blades really add alot.
Good job!

Just wanted to say that these look perfect. Your car is by far my favorite sedan out there....without question. You are putting me towards getting these....
Well...buyer beware. I had mine in for paint and install today and when they unwrapped them from the ECS shipping package two of the four ends were pretty damaged, possibly during shipping. My shop was good enough to fix them and not charge me (you cannot even tell now), but it delayed the install until Tuesday since they had to bend, fill and reprime parts before painting. They'll be painted today, but not installed until next week. Bummer.

Got them installed yet? How do they look?

I do have them installed now and they look fantastic. The problem with living in Seattle however, is in the winter (9 months) it rains all the time, so pictures of a nice clean car are few and far between. Essentially, they look just like Blakes since we have the same color car.

FYI,
IF your body shop positions the Stone Guards correctly, their top edge s/b 5/16" below the doors opening edge.
Sadly, my shop ignored my instructions long ago and installed them 1/16" below door opening edge - positioning is OK, but not what should have been.

I am assuming that since you said "marking hole location" that they actually drilled holes in your car to mount these? I am looking at different mounting options currently, trying to see what the best option is.
This. Mainly because they're 100 Euro from the dealer which equates to $140. Now that I'm in the states for a while, it will be harder to get them at that price until I go back to Germany.

Yeah, is everyone here having holes drilled? I recall someone having them glued on.
I wouldn't risk it. Imagine having your investment go and fly off on the road while you're doing high speeds - not safe for anyone.
I installed mine in under 2 hours. Peace of mind and security. It's really not that difficult. Biggest part is having the balls to drill into your car.
