I need a working me5 map for an AEB, for some reason we are having a lot of difficulties trying to tune mine.
If you email me a map, it works better than mine and we get it tuned, I will paypal you a $$$ gift :)

Are the 830cc injectors going to be enough for E85 and a GT3076r?
Correction: 850cc
That's what I've been told by the gentlemen at 034. I originally called asking for 1000cc injectors for my e85 setup and then Max talked me into going with these modified ev14's http://www.034motorsport.com/fuel-in...r-p-19844.html
What exact problems are you having with the tune? can you send me your current tune so I can look and see what your setings are......id love to help you....no need to pay

We are having difficulties getting it to idle properly. And from what I have seen, it looks like my fuel trim corrections are really slow and basically just correcting too much sending things too rich, then too lean, over and over.. I will be heading up to the shop tomorrow and I'll bring my laptop to upload everything here.

I run 28psi with 830cc but keep in mind Ive maxed them injectors out lol, I have my main fuel setting set to the max and Im at 12.5-13.0afr so I will be getting some 1000cc or 1200cc injectors soon, so i guess if your running 25psi or less it should be ok but i would be safe and at least get 1000cc or bigger

I have a map for you if you need it.... Are you on ME3.8/5? Someone above mentioned tuning it on MAP. These cars are MAF only IIRC. E-mail me at Zak@EndlessMedia.com and I can get you the map I use for 870's... It should be close enough to idle.
What FPR are you running? I had a hell of a time with tuning mine until we realized the FPR was a 4bar and some Chinese garbage.

I am running a brand new Fuel Lab FPR I believe it is set around 3bar @ idle now. what are you running for idle pressure?
its an AEB, I believe its ME5.9?
I'll shoot you an email now, thanks
and for an update: I am keeping touch with aaronamerica via PM's, thanks a lot for your help bud!
I was referring to the shop that is going to be tuning his car. MAP= Modern Auto Performance. http://www.maperformance.com/
Rob, I may not be giving it to MAP for the E85 tune. Unless I see a complete turn around of professionalism from that facility I will not let my car go anywhere close to their dyno. I would rather trailer the car up to Shane @ DB as of now.
I'm just hoping Justin can get the car going soon, I feel bad, he is working his ass off trying to figure out these crazy fuel trims.
tuning with maestro was very very simple.....i first started with my base file and pump gas and everything was perfect with idle straight out the box, I just needed to heavily tweek the timing map since it was pulling way too much time, so then i tuned for e85 after that...all i did was turn my main fuel map up 30% between 1000-4000rpm and 4000-8000rpm I had to max the settings out lol, but i still have cold start up issue with e85 only...the car cranks right up but i cant just take off and go without letting the car warm up for like 5 mins with out missfiring and etc and ive tried every setting in Maestro to fix that and no results, so I just came to the conclusion thats it just the e85 fuel...so the trick is I always just start the car up and let it sit and idle till it warms up and then its perfectly fine and drives perfect

E85 does not work well in cold conditions. Might want to see if you can heat up the fuel a little by allowing the pump to run a bit before starting the engine.
Great idea...how should i go about doing this...just run 12volts to the pump?

You can just setup a switch that jumps power to the other side of the fuel pump fuse. I have a switch just like on my car which runs all 3 of my fuel pumps when I want to drain my gas tank and surge tank.
What about using a fuel line heater like WVO guys use. You could have it wired to a switch for just using for the first couple of minutes. http://www.fattywagons.com/fwproducts.htm

morzechowski, what has Chris Tapp had to say about it? Like Aaronamerica said, his tunes are pretty good right out of the box. I had my tune dialed in in a matter of a couple weeks and that was with me driving on public roads. If I would have had a backroad beside my house that I could have gone out and done 3rd gear pulls on it would have been done in a matter of days.
Basically, what I'm getting at is that you very likely have a hardware issue or something that you've added to the mix that the tune doesn't like. Are you running your rear O2 sensor? Also, are you running the stock throttle body? Mine idled perfectly with the stock one, but the VR6 one has been giving me trouble since day one.
Also, have you checked all the electical connectors to the TB pigtail? You may have a crack somewhere that's buggering the signal to the TB/ECU.
x2....also i wonder is that shop even familiar with maestro? they may have a setting way off...try to get me your file asap

Yes, since the pump is going to heat up the fuel a little. Might be just enough to help with E85 when it is too cold out.
so you just ran a switch straight to fuse or did you run wire straight to the fuel pump......im going to try this week

did a leak down test, looks like cylinder 1 is fucked. put a stethoscope to the block, intake, and exhaust and it looks like leakage is through the rings. taking head off and dropping the oil pan tomorrow to re-ring. #'s 4-2 are perfect. wtf. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
I am assuming this is why we are having idle issues.

That really sucks. Did you just install the rings wrong?

I have no idea yet, when I was assembling the pistons I had everything very organized to not mess it up. And I did all 4 at the same time, so I just find it odd that I did the first 3 perfectly, then I did something ass hat stupid on the last one? We will see when I pull it out.
If you fucked something up, don't feel too bad about it. I got lucky and caught about an unpteen dozen fuck-ups as I was putting mine back together. The only reason I caught them is 1/2 dumb luck and 1/2 experience from having fucked it up before lol. Best just to chalk it up to learning and try not to do it a second time.
You may want to check my build thread and see all my close calls. Maybe it'll save you from having to learn the expensive way. Or feel free to PM me if you ever have any questions. I've had a lot of guys spend a lot of time getting me straightened out, so it would be the least I could do to try and help you out however I can.
